Disney/LF should do a film adaption of Bloodline by Clauda Gray. I'm watching the all the lighsaber fights on youtube.

QueenSabe7 Yes, yes you should. After reading the first one you should read the book adaptation of ROTS by Matthew Stover. His version of it was so brilliantly written!

Bail B. Baobab I actually just started reading that book. Seems promising, but I'm not that far in and there isn't enough Kenobi in "Kenobi" lol.

Adella7 That was a wonderful book. Very dense and it took me a few chapters to really get into it, but once I did I found it fantastic.

AstroDroid88 I loved the ROTS novel! So good.

Agreed. It is probably the best written novel adaptation of the whole saga :D

The Dark Lord Trilogy is a great read. I really liked Labyrinth of Evil.
    "Cato Neimoidia business"

Also, the Kenobi novel was really well written, suspenseful and a bit atypical for Legends material, imo.

I still haven't read the Life debt book. I better buy the first book before the second book.

Oh wait... what does the "Dark Lord Trilogy" consist of? Because I've read LoE and the ROTS novel... what's the 3rd?

Dags You mean the new Kenobi novel out that was just recently written? Oh good! I've been thinking about reading that one. I'll have to put it on my list for sure. I'm right now looking forward to Bloodlines & Thrawn :D.

QueenSabe7 The last one is Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader

It gets Kenobier as it progresses, but it is ultimately more about how others see him. I was satisfied in the end. I mean, I still want an Obi-Wan anthology film, so I guess I'm not completely satisfied, but I still enjoyed the book. :p

If you're so inclined, there's currently a discussion of the book going on in the PT forum.

What about Tarkin? I've been interested in that one but from some reviews I've read on Amazon, they say the Tarkin in there was really watered down and like hardly evil at all. Or at least not to the scope that we would like him to be

Tarkin was great! Like Bloodline, I found it a bit hard to get into, but once you do you're done. A lot of interesting info and insight into the character as well as his relationships with Vader and Sidious. I heavily recommend it.

I thought Tarkin was rather uneven. The stuff about Eriadu and Tarkin's upbringing stayed with me the most. The specifics of the plot are already fuzzy.

The ESB novelization always seemed surprisingly short, imo. It's been awhile since I read it, but, it's only around 150 pages, right?

The TFA novel has more pargraphs than the movie script. There are some scenes in the book that never made it in the movie.

I read an online sample of TFA, around the first 40 pages or so, and I thought the extra details and scenes were great. I haven't bought the book yet, since, like many of us here, I already have a rather large SW reading list that I am working on.

    Palpatine in the PT.
    Vader in the OT.
Plagueis and Thrawn in the EU.
    Kylo Ren in the ST.
Other favorite villains include Count Dooku, Zam Wesell, Captain Piett, and Boba Fett.

If forced to choose only one, then Darth Vader.
