I'm so glad the weekend is almost here...
XD Aw. Glad you two enjoyed it.
"I made you a bird. It's a finger puppet. As you can see, I never painted it. I would've given it to you, but you've never trusted birds.
... Quit looking at me like that."
Waaaaaaay too quiet in here for a Friday. Unless all of you guys are lucky ducks and have off work and are off doing wonderful things with your free time. Then... I would understand.
*blast music and does a "YAY FRIDAY" dance*
*plugs ears and shouts over the racket*
TURN THAT DOWN!!!
I've been around, just not in here.
I envisioned you as a crotchety old lady waving her cane/walker while yelling that.
lol! That's funny. That will be me when I'm old.
But you're right. It's been very quiet in here.
It's the calm before the party.

But QueenSabe7, I have a legitimate excuse: been binging S2 of Hannibal this week. Watching the S2 finale before work.
EDIT: OMG that finale!!!! Sooooo goooooood and crazy!!!!!
I forget if it was you or DarthIshyZ who said Freddie gets better in S2, but y'all were right; I liked her better in S2. I liked everything even better! This show is so good I'm going to be so sad once I'm finished with it.
I think my favorite deaths were:
the honey bee people, the tree guy w/flowers in him (that one was my most favorite for the creativity & colorfulness of the flowers lol ) . The eye was insane & really disturbing. Also, poor Margot, & Beverly. And they totally fooled me w/Freddie's death; I was surprised when Will killed her, but then was all wtf omg when Jack shows Alana she's alive. The whole Will/Hannibal dynamic is amazing. All those cooking & dinner scenes are perfect, or one might say, to die for. And the whole music & sound team are geniuses; the show definitely would only be half of what it is without the perfect, eerie, haunting, unsettling score/msuic/sounds in the background. In each episode too.
And yes, happy Friday y'all.
no, no fun here, just havn't been in
I'm just at work. 3 more hours.
Wish I was outside though. It is a beautiful day!
Good Afternoon !
This! 100% this! I'm glad you enjoy it. We'll PM between ourselves when you're done so we can geek out together. BTW, you still haven't seen my favorite meal of all.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is coming out on May 5th for Cinco De Mayo. I don't think these events are connected. What are your ( everyone on this thread) plans for May the 4th?
I'm leaving for work shortly.
It's beautiful here but we have an 'enhanced threat' of bad weather tonight.
Stay safe. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Be safe Lady B!
Then allow me to fix that.
EDIT: Oh my god, the lead singer of Obituary looks like he could be my twin with that curly long hair!

Thanks guys. I have to keep watch since we are responsible for children during the classes, and just last year a storm developed a tornado not far away. We had to shelter the parents and kids until it was all over. The storms this evening are thought to be more likely to produce hail than tornadoes...but, I don't want either.
If it's what I think it is.... ahhhh!
Valency Jane Yes! So glad you enjoyed the season 2 finale! One of my top episodes of the entire show. So utterly messed up but beautiful at the same time. And yes, at that point I fully shipped Will and Hannibal.
Lady Belligerent Hope the weather doesn't get too bad for you!
Ugh...sorry to hear that, Lady Belligerent!
That's scary stuff – I hope you stay safe!
Pretty sure I could never get into a show that glorifies cannibalism. That's ******* revolting, imo.
^ agreed. I can't even watch walking dead because it creeps me out.
Yeah. The Silence of the Lambs is a bona fide classic. I can take that for one 2 hour movie, but watching hour after hour of that over multiple seasons sounds rough. The sequels to SOTL were ok, but I would have been fine with just the one movie. Just my opinion. To each their own, as it were.
I watched S1 of The Walking Dead. It was alright, but again, it gets repetitive after awhile.
*Grabs a stool at the bar and orders a rum and coke.*
I lost interest in Hannibal after season 2.
The Walking Dead is one of those shows I hate myself for watching. I'm always yelling at the screen.
