Good morning. 3 day weekend!! I won the lottery on the Imperial Star Destroyer so they're letting me out of the trash compactor after a decade and letting me see the suns. Gonna watch some pod racing and drink some Colt 45.

 

Ah yes, I forgot! I'm at the tail end of a 2-week vacation so it's more depressing than exciting for me.

 

2 week vacation. I vaguely remember those.

 

Between my vacation request and certain scheduling "quirks," I'm ending up with basically a two and a half weeks off from work.

 

OMG Dags! This is awesome! Thank you so so much, totally made my day (kind of glad I read it today instead of yesterday, needed a pick me up )! You really put thought into too, it is so me; and I love the rhyming! Saving this and might use it in my sig if I can find a way to fit it in.

If I had such authority I'd make you the resident poet of the CCC. But maybe instead Dandelo can make you chief poet of his empire in addition to the role you already have. Doubt you have time to make poems for everyone but this was so good I'm sure you could write some more great ones.

Agreed. I, too, was very close to my maternal grandparents.
Very lucky to have spent lots of time with them. Wonderful memories indeed.

Dagobahsystem it was ok, was a bit hot though, didn't fall asleep until the late afternoon

 

I'm slept in this morning. I did not do anything today. On Memorial Day I am going to the cemetery to pay respects to my late grandpa. He served in World War Two and the Korean War . I think that Memorial Day should be a day to remember those people who served for my country.
