I always feel weird being from New York State and I've never seen New York City. Maybe now that I live here (and plan to die here because I am NOT moving again), one of these days I will make my way to the City for a visit.

 

It always moves me to see the World Trade Center, or the Twin Towers as we would call it. I always look for it in old movies set in NYC. The 76 King Kong climbed up it, and they filmed some scenes in the lobby, when Jeff Bridges is going in there at the end.

 

I will forever be proud of my home state for the heroism of New York City on September 11th. Through all the tragedy, it was a shining example of American unity. *salutes the memory of those lost that day*

Did you see Rexy Lady B? As in T-Rex. Museum of Natural History. I don't have a T-Rex emoji so you'll have to settle for the fabled Mooasaur. Kaleesh-Cyborg Mr. Rogers would say in times like that (tragedy) his mother would always tell him to "look for the helpers. There are always people looking to help at times like these."

 

You're right. Really, it's people who see that something needs to be done and they don't wait for orders or invitations or requests. They just go and they serve and they do because it's the right thing to do and they know it. Live or die, they will do what's right.

 

My Bengals lead the Packers with a minute left. This is why I don't bet on the NFL. It's been a strange week. Even the Jets won. PS Green Bay scored. Way to go Bengals. Way to go.

 

Green Bay and Cincy are going to overtime. So I need to send back the champagne from Tattooine's finest vineyards. If I had a million dollars I'd put it on the Bengals to lose. And the Seahawks my other team just lost to the Titans. PS yup the Bengals lost. Good grief Linus.
