The Conjuring 1&2 are too scary to watch alone. I haven't seen any good scary movies in while. When in the next Chucky movie coming out?

The Conjuring is currently on my list. I'm usually pretty good when it comes to horror movies, so we'll see...

As for Cult of Chucky, I haven't seen it yet, but it was released earlier this month direct to Blu-ray/DVD.

Cult of Chucky is also on Netflix, if that piques your interest.

Coming from a guy who watches lots of horror. Skip the Chucky, proceed straight to Conjuring, Insidious and Sinister. And the Babadook and The Orphanage and The Descent. You're welcome. ;)[face_pumpkin] PS What a frakkin long Monday!

Hey. You should probably skip Paranormal Activity. It's about 76 minutes too long. It's shot in a hand held and tripod home video camera style, and is presented as found footage. It should have remained lost, imo. The only real scares and suspense are contained in the final 10 minutes. I'd give it 0.5 out of 4 stars, and that is being generous. Can't believe there are a whole bunch of sequels too. Won't be watching those.

Thanks for the film suggestions, Chris. I will be watching Insidious next.

Thanks for the review, Dagobahsystem! :)

Yeah, I think I may reconsider. I'm not a fan of the hand-held camera work. Cloverfield was like that, and it ended up making me sick. [face_sick]

I'm going to take christophero30 's advice and go with The Conjuring (I'll probably add the sequels to Insidious to the list as well).

Figures that's the only part I've seen and was rewarded by some horrendous nightmares. That final camera sweep still gives me goosebumps.

HanSolo29 Loved Cloverfield. Definitely got motion sickness in the theater lol, but it was worth it. Mostly.

I'm not a big horror movie person myself, although I've seen American Haunting (starring Rachel Hurd-Wood and Donald Sutherland), both the original and remakes of Fright Night. I'm currently reading It, although I haven't seen either the miniseries (starring Tim Curry) or the new movie.

I can't really get into re-watching horror. When I know what's going to happen, it really takes away from the experience.

It's not like ROTJ where there's different details to see beyond Vader saying, "Obi-Wan is your father!"

Good episode(s), happy to have it back for sure. Although I don't get why they air the new episodes at 12:30AM.

Edit: Nice to see they are being really creative with the Han Solo movie name: Solo.

Haha, true. You think they'll put the first teaser before TLJ? There will only be 5 months left til release by that point.

Yeah, I think they release a teaser right before TLJ comes out and show it before it. If not that's a pretty compact marketing schedule in a span of four months time. Although, to follow suit of TFA and TLJ, the college football national championship is on January 8 (you guessed it, on ESPN) so maybe they debut it there just to let TLJ have a few weeks of the sole spotlight.

All I can see is a red solo cup sitting in the cockpit of the Falcon instead of Han....
