At the Gold's Gym where I work, we have a combo VHS/DVD player.

 

I definitely still have mine somewhere in the basement.

 

We had a beta tape player when I was little.

 

Yea, ST is wonderful. My VCR still works. I use it about once a year to watch OOT ROTJ.

So I woke up really early this morn, like 5 am, since I've gotten so much sleep due to being sick. Decided to watch Insidious Chapter 2 and I am pretty freaked out right now. This film is scary as hell. PG-13? WTF?

Catching up on my posts here because my parents had friends over for dinner last night.

 

I still have a lot of VHS movies, collecting dust.

 

It would be nice if we could sell our VHS tapes for at least half the original purchase price. I have a bunch of Disney tapes that were quite spendy back in the day. Like $20 a piece. And now they are practically worthless lol.

 

Kids today would probably ask, "What's VHS?"

 

i have a vcr, and a lot of old tapes i want to keep. i don't have it hooked up to my tv though, i even have a new blu ray that's still in the box.

 

I have so many DVDs that I could build a house out of them.

All this VCR and Betamax talk makes me feel slightly less old. Slightly. I had a combo DVD/VCR player a few years back but it kept eating my tapes so I upgraded to the new century. PS What the heck happened to the Colts and the Cardinals this year? Yikes.
