My first viewing of The Hobbit. I got 2 or maybe even 3 screenings to go to by the end of December.

 

Lucky you! The movie won't come to the cinema here before December 12th!

 

I go Friday afternoon. Then maybe a second time, maybe.

 

It'll be night of December 13th, morning of the Fourteenth for Gummy...

I'm off to see it Friday.... technically Friday, actually. 12:30 showtime.

Actually we get it December 13th and I'm going to be seeing it at 11:30 in the morning.

I'm seeing it on opening day with mum, possibly seeing it next weekend with dad and going to the Imax showing with 9 minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness on the 28th!

Yes for Star Trek! That's a great combo... teaser for the film, and you get to see the Hobbit.

 

And seeing as it means going to London I'm going to be visiting Forbidden Planet on the day to see if I can walk out with another armful of awesome stuff (And 2 or 3 blindbag ponies too! )

 

Will the after-Holiday sales still be ongoing at that point?

 

In the UK we don't tend to see sales start until New Years Day.

 

I had the wrong date, it's the thirteenth for Gummy, but movies are released on different days on different countries sometimes. Australia, for example, doesn't get it for quite a while, I believe...

Basically, I'm saying he doesn't get it before the twelfth either.
