Tomorrow being new years eve I must admit the ball drop in times square is such a yawn fest. Who the **** cares to see a **** ball drop!? I never understood all the people standing there all night. Because you have to be there early before they shut down the street. There's nothing like a house party for new years. You don't pay anything to at the door like the clubs do. Get 4-5 people to split up the payment to buy Macallan 15 Fine Oak. Others can bring Jameson. Have people sleep over so nobody drives home order pizza the next day to get rid of the hangover. Most importantly you're with friends instead of 1 or 2 friends and thousands of strangers bumping into you into a sardine like times square block.

I prefer going to see a great live band. The last couple years I've been broke so I host a party at my house and luckily my favorite band has streamed their NYE concerts live. I agree about the ball drop. Also all the TV specials are turds in the pool.

Yeah I like seeing live bands. If you're drinking a lot the band can be mediocre but the liquor makes it sound like a good band
