Why do you try arguing with these people Rick? Any place with a 100 page rebuttal of RLM's prequel reviews while missing the key ingredient, the humour, isn't somewhere you're going to have a good time arguing against the grain.

As I have said before I have seen people stick up for what is officially recognised as fraud, it doesn't stop it from being fraud. People stick up for anything. And venemously at that.

    Again, I respect that. :)

The PT threads are icky. Wouldn't touch 'em with a 50 foot barge pole.

I just never took you for the kind of person who would write it.

And my car could have been more, so I guess $400 isn't horrible. I lost the wheel for crying out loud. (And turns out, the same thing just happened to a friend of kine a few minutes ago.)

(Posted Monday at 6:59pm EST... so this happened to me on Sunday.)

I will tell you guys about my bad day yesterday. I was on my way to work, and my car was vibrating more than it had been in the past few days. Thinking that my breaks are sticking, I make the decision to turn around, go home, and get one of my parent's cars. I turn off the road I was on, and call work to say I will be late. She says okay, and that it hasn't been busy. I turn off of that road to head in the direction of home, and as I am turning, I hear a bang. I thought I had gotten a flat. Somehow, I managed to get to the side of the road, and, when I got out, I found my passenger side tire gone. Yep, gone. all the bolts sheered off, and my tire rolled away down the other road and into the snow. But to top it off, my phone decided it wouldn't work, and after somehow I managed to call work back and tell them what happened, I couldn't call home... it kept dialing my mom's cell, and wouldn't disconnect.

My mom took me into work, and my dad stayed with the car. The shop won't be open until Wednesday, so who knows how much it will be to fix it.

Wow, any clue what could have shredded the tire like that?

The tire wasn't shredded. The bolts that hold the tire had broken. It is either from over tightening the nuts on the tire, or under tightening them. When I went to Celebration in 2010, we lost two bolts off of the truck. Made about the same sound when we had to drive it. (We were only about 15 miles from Orlando.)

And who knows exactly why it happens... Bad luck maybe too... I broke a mirror a few months ago...

Sorry, I meant what broke the bolts. I've been over tired for a few days now so am stumbling over my own words. I even forgot my own age yesterday I kid you not.

It's okay. I was just making sure because I did mention that I thought I had a flat.

My shoulders have been killing me since Sunday when I shoveled the end of the driveway so I could get out (and thus my parents could get out to rescue me...)

Yeah I think the tire went flat on its own (or someone did something to it o_O) while I was at the doctor's office. Thinking everything was fine I was driving back home going about 45 mph when BAM it exploded rolled and almost hit a really expensive audi, then landed in a ditch along with my hubcap.
