If I ever read it again I'm gonna keep tally and make it into a drinking game. Might get expensive.

Ack. JAT was terrifying. I stopped reading it.

Fire-flower isn't the worst word used in that book. :(
And it threw me off the whole thing. I really couldn't stand most of it.

    2/10, would not recommend.

I liked it. The writing was terrible but it was creative and fun. Much, much more worthwhile than Thrawn. You're already past the best part of TTT while the first few pages of JAT are their worst.

I tried! Maybe another time. I'll let my brain forgive and forget.

I'm really picky about grammar and sentence structure.

I'm past the best part after 3 chapters?

Yeah. Zahn sets up a character that's sposed to be smart and creative but the author is not so Thrawn is all reputation and no substance for the reader to see. All the other characters say he's great all the time then they snort and Thrawn does nothing.

JAT has my favorite SW planet and sport. And alot more new characters. Plus some Jedi history lessons.

So because Zahn isn't as intelligent as Thrawn, but is gifted with words, (except snort), Thrawn is two dimensional and all reputation but no action?

I can see that happening... Hopefully it's not as bad as I'm imagining though.

I'll see. At least the grammatical aspects are polished and not distracting.

    I know that.

Lucky me, I didn't have to settle for Thrawn. :p

I'd like both. Because lacking one takes away from the story, unfortunately.

Maybe I should call Zahn up, we could rewrite it with my study of SW military tactics and technobabble, and his nice sentence structure. :p

    Kidding, as always.

Writing for SW would be fun. But so says everyone.

    That's why I like Stover.

    Have you read Dark Rendezvous?

The three Stovers and that one blow away all the other SW novels I've read.

I love the difference between the opening of Wookiee articles and Wiki articles. Wookiee is much more gentle around usage of "fictional character" and "created by George"
    :p

    In French, ABY is ap.BY...

I never noticed that. I've had my Safari in French for months now.
