Why has my iphone been extremely hot everytime I've charged it lately?
I'm worried about my baby

 

How old is it? It might be the battery wearing out.

 

I bought it in November 2011..

 

Well it shouldn't be the battery. Perhaps the apple products website has an FAQ on the subject.

 

Careful. You hear stories about Apple batteries catching on fire and such. Not sure if it's relevant. But wouldn't want you to wind up like your avatar. ;-)

 

Wasn't that back during the classic ipod days?

 

How many times a day do you charge it? If you leave it plugged in everyday for more than 3-4 hours, sometimes it can start overheating.

 

Maybe it's not just when I'm charging it either.

Noooooooo!!!!!!!! That must never happen!! My iphone is so much sweeter and hotter with all it's limbs intact. And the curly hair.... Please god. Save Anak- I mean iphone!!

 

I don't have a smart phone. Can't afford the bill. I had one back years ago and I had to cancel it.

 

I still have a flip phone. Works just fine.
