My cat just made my week also. He came up to me and meowed, I said "Are you looking for your mama?" and he meowed a "ma-ma", so I said "Your mama?" and he did it again. I started giggling hysterically, and asked him again. He said ma-ma three times.

 

Rabbit holes and talking cats

 

One of our cats refuses to meow. He will hiss when he is upset (which isn't often, he is pretty mellow) but we have had him for seven years now and I can count the number of times I have heard him meow on one hand.

 

All of the cats we have had have been very vocal. My friends' cats are so quiet, I barely ever hear them meow.

 

One of our other cats makes up for it. Every shabla thing she does she meows. Most vocal cat I have ever run across. But she is adorable so we put up with it.

When is your exam, then?

 

It was ok. We stopped at a fast food place and a few stores, that I can remember.

Next week Monday, Wednesday, then two on Thursday.

Luckily I have to study like crazy for the one on Thursday, some for the one on Monday, and the other two are basically no problem.
So essentially I have two exams.


Edit: Bardan: We have a drama queen cat too. You can't step within 4 feet of her before she meows continuously at you for attention.

Good luck with all of them. I'm finished with all my four myself and am now taking a year long summer vacation. Feels amazing.

They're Financial Securities, Chemistry, Family Living, and Writer's Craft.
First two are hard, I've been studying since last week, last two I'll probably just glance over some notes night before.

ETA: All are two hours, so I'm lucky they're short.

 

I'm sure you'll kick ***. So you don't have any oral exams, then?

 

No, no languages this semester.
Unless you mean presentations, because those are already done with. I only had one actual oral presentation. The rest were just essays and reports.

 

Oh okay. Yeah, I was thinking presentations. As an exam. Here you always have 3 written exams and 1 oral. The oral exam was the most fun. I got to put my moves on the um.. we call it "sensor" but I can't figure out what the person who grades your exam is called in english.

 

Teacher's assistants usually do it here.
Yeah, I like those presentations because I make food and costumes, and bring music and pictures and make it fun.

Yeah we are supposed to get some storms later tonight into tomorrow. Right now it is hot and humid out. My kids didn't even want to play outside today because it was so muggy.

 

Wow, really. In what classes do you get to do that?

It's rather nice here actually. We never get that extreme weather you guys have there across the pond.

 

Family Living. We brought German food for our German wedding presentation. Which I made because I'm the only German person in the group/class.

 

Was it part of the assignment or did you just choose to do it yourself? Awesome either way. Bratwurst?

 

It was just one of those days, I had reporting of 186 students to check then had to put a package together for state panel of extension music for 10 students.

It was raining cats and dogs once I had finished and I wanted to just go to my local or fish.

Alas I could not. My brain felt lke it was on the floor and my eyes felt like sandpaper.


But that was yesterday, so today fingers crossed, I will have less 'work'

 

Chose to do it myself. We got bonus marks so it was worth it.
I really didn't have to, but I think I may be getting a 99% in the class now.
(Hence my "not studying for the exam" )
