In the book I'm reading now, Kabul's Swallows while a couple is out walking, someone bumps into them and the woman laughs, then gets in trouble by a Taliban for laughing, then in more trouble for telling her husband to leave with her. The Taliban forces the guy to go to listen to Koran exposition while the wife waits outside in the sun. for hours.
