Zombies aren't cool? That's news to me what with the number of movies, games, albums, comics, novels, theme parks, tea towels, holiday destinations, soap bars, *insert other outlandish sign of popularity here* dedicated to them.

I heard. That really sucks. He's one of the reasons why I'm interested in pursuing film critique through my access to humanities course this year, he always got across his passion for movies rather well, so even when I disagreed with him his reviews ended up being rather good reads.

 

Same here. He was a big inspiration on me being a film buff.

 

My mom bought his first collection of reviews in the mid 80's. I've read most of it now and it I still use it to find good movies. For the most part I'm against the critics but if they were all more like Ebert I would change my opinion of the profession.
