If you had the opportunity to see 2001: A Space Odyssey in '68 what should you do? If you had the opportunity to see Star Wars in '77 but didn't how would you feel about that? Now I'm telling you that Gravity presents you with the same opportunity those films did in their time. I told you. I gave you more than enough reason to do it. And what have you done?

 

I don't have money to see Gravity.

I can't say I understand but I can say hers is one of the most impressive performances I've ever seen by any actor. I've never been impressed by her acting before but I admit I have always liked her.

First it's not really scifi. Second it compares well with your exceptions

I got that description from Rotten Tomatoes (they call it a "sci-fi thriller"...if that helps my case any, I'm not much into most thrillers, either ...)

another descriptiion: It's like a remake of Apollo 13 by the directing team of ang Lee, James Cameron, Malick, a time travelling GL from the seventies, and a time traveling greatest director of the 2050s.
