Club Meeting March 10th

Our next club meeting will be Sat March 10th 12:30pm at Lampost Pizza

Officer Meeting 12:00pm

We will be discussing our Fanday with IEFF on March 24th to the WSMI exibit to the California Science Center

We should have out T-Shirts for then (dont quote me just yet)

and We Will have our new Website up by March 4th or sooner if Liz finishes it and runs it by Aaron or myself

I will be there, and Lucas too (with his star ship minis I'm sure).

I just have to make sure I am not babysitting, but it is 'penned' in my calendar!

Ok, James and I are moving that day...we got a condo! YAY!!!! and our 'official' move in date is March 10, darn it.. so IF we get EVERYTHING done we can make it to the meeting.

I'll be there for the meeting, but not to eat, or to socialize much, afterward. My brother will be down from San Fran, so I will be eating an early dinner with him and my mom that day.

A conversation I had with a guy in the pizza parlor during the meeting.

Guy: Hey
Me: Hi
Guy: Do you know those guys standing out front?
Me: Yeah, we're part of a group.
Guy: What's those silver metal tubes hanging at their sides?
Me: Lightsabers
Guy: [Confused look] No, really dude, what are they?
Me: Really, they're lightsabers. Not real of course, because Star Wars isn't real, but they are functional with light up blades. They teach sword-fighting classes.
Guy: Um, that's cool. Whatever.
Me: Pfffffffffftttttttt.

He's just jealous.. the closest thing he'll ever get is a light up pen.

I am sorry I missed the meeting, but thank you SO MUCH Rion and Aaron for your help with our move prior to the meeting, we really appreciate it.
