    This is for the clue challenge prompts. I will be writing these as frequently as possible. Since there are only two guesses per week, I will indicate stories that follow the prompts but are not intended to be guesses.

    [[Title: Guess 1- Symbol- Angst/Humor ::
    Character Luke Skywalker/ Action Grieving for a loved-one/ Location Ewok Village]]

    As the galaxy at large celebrated the victory of the Rebel Alliance, fireworks exploded in every atmosphere. Within the endless black pine forest there was a private celebration for the small group of heroes that against all odds were responsible for saving the galaxy. The brilliant sun set in the horizon, leaving the pale white planet of Endor hovering alone in the night sky.

    Translucent in the torch light, casting a haunting aura in the rising mist, the ghosts were standing in simple silence unseen to the living. The Ewoks chattered and danced around them, completely oblivious of the otherworldly party crashers. Luke leaned against the tree, instead of running out onto the platform, to embrace Ben just as he had Han, Leia and Wedge moments before. Perhaps exhaustion from the battle had caused some kind of hallucination and they weren't even there.

    “Well, you have had a busy day.” Obi-wan's words were simply a memory from the very first time he met the hermit. Obi-wan’s ghost had spoken to him before with a presence overwhelming in the force. Now it seemed to be fading away, much to Luke’s anxiety.

    The spirit of the ancient and weary Master Yoda was perched on a railing. Luke had remembered his dying words as the creature had faded from existence in the hut on Dagobah. “Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall.” He had so many questions about the true nature of the force, if only Master Yoda could stay, only seconds longer. Anything not to be left alone in this Endor night, burdened to be the only one that could restore the Jedi Order to dawn.

    “You already have, Luke.” The funeral pyre had such finality it was a shock to suddenly see Anakin Skywalker’s ghost, barely recognizable to Luke in this young carefree form. His gratitude was a simple emotion mirrored by those on Endor and farther out among the stars. Luke’s heart started beating as loudly as the atmospheric firecrackers above.

    “What’s wrong?” Leia asked gently, putting her hand on his shoulder. “You look as though you’d seen a ghost.”

    “You could say that.” Luke answered, smiling back at her.

    Everyone had their own way of grieving for their loved ones. The few leaders of the Rebel Alliance had an inability to create tears during this long war. It was a stubborn attempt to maintain strength for others as a symbol of hope. Luke Skywalker had the rest of his life to be a symbol, so why couldn't the human emotions win out for tonight?

    He turned around one last time, and waved goodbye for as long as he could, blinking back his tears while failing to restrain his laughter. And naturally, the Ewoks waved back.

    Somehow, the Ewoks made this better. (Is this an offshoot of 'everything is better with monkeys'? Hmmm...) It still stings, and there's so much emotion going through Luke in this moment, but... there's waving Ewoks! Well done. :)
