I saw the article about Chrolette and Episode III, and was wondering what the codename / working name was to keep Empire Strikes back under wraps while it was made. How about the other films the the Epic?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Thanks!

I don't know that there was one for ESB. I do know that Return of the Jedi went by Blue Harvest for quite some time.

I do not believe there was a code name for TESB. There was a newspaper article at one point, right after David Prowse said, "No, Obi-Wan killed your father..." (as opposed to "I am your father..."), and the headline read "Guiness New Baddie in Star Wars 2".

Nope, there was no code name for ESB. The only reason why they had one for ROTJ, was because they wanted to stop video piracy which was very strong because most films at the time, especially the Star Wars films, took years to be released. ESB was a victim of the pirates, hence Lucas found it necessary to make the film in complete secrecy under a false name.

Ahhh...thanks! I was wondering why when I put the ROTS DVD in my PC, it read as "Charlotte". :)
