Hey James... where in El Paso was that Star Wars shop you mentioned ? I got a LOT of familly out there (ALL of my GP, Aunts and Uncles except for 2 infact) and sence they never have any Idea of what to send me out for X-mas or B-day's... I can just direct them there...

The collectible shop is on Mesa Street. Mesa runs North and South, and would be on the West Side of the street. It is closer to the Sunland Park Mall end, than it is the 10 freeway end of the street. I have an El Paso phone book lying around here somewhere, I'll try and get the exact address for you.

Ok.... here's a new thought... has any one ever bought a cheep knock off (Not just SW) and been happy with it ?> Cause I just have... I bought the cheep korean SW imp watch off ebay for less then $15 including S&H... and it's exactly what I wanted... No Stormtrooper on the front... just the imp logo and all.... and I was just wondering if any one bought anything else that was a knock off that they likes more then the LFL ones... (Park sabers aside, of corse)

I try to buy bootleg and/or unofficial products whenever I find them because I think they are interesting, and it is cool to have something that no one else, or rather, only a few people have. My fovorite would have to be the 12" George Lucas figure made in Japan by "Hot Toys" and the 12" Mara Jade figure also made in Japan, and purchased from Cloud City Collectibles.

 

I got my Gentle Giant Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise today. Very nice bust!

He's sitting next to the Luke in X-wing gear.
