Anyone know where I can get my hands on one of the silver anniversary R2-D2s? (I'd rather not have to trade one of my silver Fetts for it, since Boba appears to be worth more to most.) Thanks.

since the original way to get the silver R2s has passed, your best bet is through trades or auctions. there are some websites now that have item watch -- keeps track of whenever a person wants or has a particular figure..
i think it might be alltroops.com but im not sure..

You're right, James. I also checked out Ebay, and there were some figures available. Thanks.

    Is that a 12" figure or a regular 3 3/4" ?

Its a 3 3/4 figure. I have the 12" Luke Jabba's palace figure, the one where he is holding the bone that he uses to keep the Rancor's mouth open.

I was going to include this in the newsletter but I can't find any picture or information on either the Applause or Hasbro sights. :(

New pictures from Rebelscum of the Clone Wars multipacks. Each set features either an infantry, lieutenant, or commander clone. Each of the three different clones appear to be repaints of the red Clone Captain.

Was at the Aero Drive Walmart last night, they had the 12" Zam Wessel (sp), Dengar, and the Imperial Commander marked down to $15.

Was also out in Barstow over the weekend (yeah, I know, a bit of a long trip) but they had the Amidala 'Barbie style' dolls for $2, and the 4-packs that include Orn-Free Ta, Luminaria Unduli and the Endor Rebel for $8 a 4-pack.

The Outlet may be a good pit-stop for anyone goin to the Vegas con :)

/\ Sounds like a good idea Jess! We can make a pitstop on the way to the Vegas con. Armand even mentioned a place in San Bernardino that might be on the way. :D

I want to say its the 'Toy Outlet' at the factory outlet mall. It carries a TON of KB stock, but I remember distinctly it didn't say KB Toys on it. You can see it from the freeway on the way to scenic Barstow, about 3-5 miles away from where they have a tank and a giant fire helmet on display.

    Does that help?

Anyone up for a road trip? ;)

I would if I still had my passes. :_|

Another sacrifice to the budget cuts. Actually, you can check out the Lego Shop online (www.lego.com - select the Shop tab); they usually have the same sales as the parks. :D

    Thanks for the notification, Jess.

Hey! Can Jeff get us into Legoland for free if we come in costume during Halloween?

Okay, I still have time on the clock so I'll tack on this note. I found a link from PayPal to a site called Federation Toys. They seem to be out of a lot of stock, but their prices looked good to me. But I'll let our experienced collectors give their opionion. :D
