I probably won't be able to as that's right in the middle of the Uni term... Hope you all have a good time though
I'll be there dude - was just trying to find out if this was a South or Midlands event as such, i've got a thread on the North, Midlands...and UK forums about this now...
I'm not sure if I'll make C12 this time round, which is a shocker for me as I always make it. I'm still quite uninspired by the guest line-up, and thus far there seems to be little-to-no mention of extra events going on and once again I'm thinking their attention isn't quite there, as with London Film & Comic Con. I am after one of two things though so that may sway me, but if I did go I'd make it more a fleeting visit I think.
i'm with tice on this one,i couldn't give a monkeys about any of the guests... what's in it for me? collector-whatever,my fat sweaty ass. i went to a comics event in birmingham and it knocked these schleppy film events right out the back door. you had guys signing stuff...mike mignola, the creator of hellboy...and dave gibbons, the co-creator of watchmen, for free. FREE,i say!!!
I'd like to go to this one, I may book the time off, but I just became the victim of identity theft so with that pending, I might not have any cash to get me there Otherwise, count me in!
Don't hold back Jamie, just tells us what you think, please Dave Gibbons though....you could have gotten his autograph for me Anyway, I'm 90% certain I wont be going. I just feel so unispired by the guest line-up and the lack of other events taking place during the show just makes me think it's not worth the trip up the M1. I also still have the bitter after-taste that was LFCC, and I still feel we haven't been given good enough reasons why that show was so bad, so I'm showing my disapproval by not going to this one!
I'll be there. I just have to figure out where to buy tickets at Euston tomorrow. Seriously, there are more random shops there that anything useful and train-related.
