I said Noooooo becuase 1) I wish I prepared for this event far ealier and 2) its late sept early october, I do not know the date I start UNI untill I get my exam results back a week tommorow

and yeah it's possible, though Im not totally sure of how much teh event will be about. Plus its manchester to milton keynes.. only about under 3 hour train... but ill look into it more after next week

Doesn't the uni have term dates online? Mine does. Freshers week is like last week of September and everyone else starts on the 3rd October.

I'll probably attend C8 on Saturday.

Well, to get the best out of the event, how much money should I be prepared to spend ( asking to any collector mania veteran

 

Depends on how many days you are going for, guests you are interested in and whether you are likely to buy anything from the stalls.

 

I mean I was reading that it's free entry. but there was somthing about a "buffy" talk. which doesnt seem to name a price. I'ld probabyl go for one day if I even decided to go

Yup free entry as this one is in a shopping centre but the Buffy Talk is £20, that is being held in the stadium.

It isn't a silly question, if you don't know then better to ask than under estimate something

Edit: if you do decide to go, my best advice is if you want the talk to book the tickets as soon as you can as talk tickets are normally sold out before the event (the popular ones are anyway)

 

As for the actual event, i would say bring enough to get at least one autograph, and something else that might take your fancy, oh and food!

Id say £30 should do it, but remember, cheque books and bank cards are your enemys!

 

Yep, so all you'd have to pay for is travel, spending money for stalls and any talks you went to.

 

The general concensus from everyone (including me) is to take about £30.....

.....But I always take £100 plus, strange that!

Ill be seeing my uncle soon, so ill tell him not to book ANYTHING for that saturday!

 

Thinking about it, people aren't really likly to be able to arrive all at the same time, so we could have places and time spaced through the day at which we all meet up. What d'yall think?

Maybe 1 around 11 for the people not traveling as far, then one at 2, for everyone, everyone should be there by then

 

Just had horrible thought. I'm at a Youth Theatre meeting that morning. Ok, I wont be arriving until about 2 in that case. Phew, can still make it

 

I need to seriously figure out what I am doing because I am not sure if I am just coming early or going to be there for the weekend yet, but I don't really have much to stay for the whole weekend for besides my friends just money being an issue really.

 

Well I know I'm definately coming only on Saturday from about 1.30-2ish until 5ish. We still have six weeks but the sooner we have who how when and wht sorted out the longerr we have to relax

 

Well definate Saturday that is for sure, I don't think I would survive not attending at all...
