Collectormania Gmex 3, Manchester 17-18 Nov '07 (Pre-planning thread)

I'm happy to go to either, you know me I'll eat anything

 

As Tim mentioned a week or so ago, we also need to think about a rota. So far, one person has replied about whether we should use a rota or not, so unless anyone else objects, I guess we?ll go for that (don?t you just love democracy!).

I know there are a few of us going to this, so it?ll be useful to know who?ll be willing and available to man the FF table, as I know some of you will have other commitments (such as costuming, crewing) which is fair enough.

Please state day(s) or even times of days which are best for you.

FF table help:

Can I just add that no-one is forced to help out on the table, so if you'd rather not, then there is no obligation, but any help offered is appreciated.

 

i'll see to a table for people... although it'd be rather neat if i knew for how many

 

Pick a number...multiply it by the square root of 73.5, divide by 12 and subtract 4.....

Well, since there's 8 of us staying over for at least most of the weekend, go for 8...we can always adjust nearer the time..oh, and add yourself too...so 9! lol

 

yeah that sounds okay. i'll probably stop by the italian place some time this week.

Since most of the NE people are either making their own way to Manc or going on different days, I?ll come by coach.

Not sure which station I'll be arriving at Suzi tbh, the Southport-Manchester line sometimes doesn't stop at Deansgate at certain times, so it'll be there or Oxford Road

We may have a Midlander join our ranks too ... so if Martina needs to share a room, I may have her a room-mate, the girl we met at Birmingham last weekend Suze.

You know what, theres not one there I particuarly want to see. More going to hold a friends hand.

 

You can put me down for both days, not happy with somethings in the 99th and rather help a group which cares about it's members.

Coz, 99th do care about all their members believe me. I know what is being discussed doesn't sound good for crew (especially those at Chester), but they need to take precautions over protection and cover, and right now they are taking a deep look at all aspects of how they do a successful troop - crewing being the aspect where they need more. When you see them at Manchester, hopefully any issues can be cleared up ok?

I'm currently working on what the table display will be, will chat with Coz about it today hopefully too. I'll post the idea when Suzi gets back from her hols.

For the table itself - I am working out some competitions (with prizes hopefully) and interactives so people who visit our table can walk away with something more than a leaflet. Was also thinking if Coz and myself can do fan art sketches (on the day or beforehand) that people can take away. The main focus of the table should be to explain what we do socially, and also the creativity of fans on theForce.net network.
