Yes! I got my silver R2-D2 yesterday! I popped for a Slave 1 so I could get the free R2. The checker said that each Toys R Us got 32 of them & she also said that they were down under 10 when I got there. They brought me one that had a trashed corner. She said that most of them were in pretty bad condition. But I asked if they would check for a better one for me and they did, and it was better

BTW, Happy B-Day Cole!!

 

I went to Toys R Us today to get my $3 figures. They had already been picked trough pretty well but I did get a Jango pilot and new Padme. I grabbed a few to open too.

 

I went on the hunt last night with Preachrman and we both ended up with some new acquisitions at TRU($3.00!!ea.). I got some of the newer wave stuff(Tusken/Massif, Lott Dodd & Watto).

 

Since I always go on bombing runs myself errm toy runs ehehe.........ToysRUs has 12" Wave 3 Zukuss,Dengar and Imperial Officer........WestSide Walmart had tons of Clone Pilots,Lott Dod, Jango Pilots,Padme Courasant, Yoda and Dooku..also had Ephant Mon.....The FAO Shuttle Tyderium I ordered is supposed to arrive sometime around 01/14/03.........Taregt North had new Deluxe Figures Geonosian,Clone W/Speeder/ and Anakin.....hmm lessee still got an eye out for the holiday 2 pack no luck yet

 

The jasper wal-mart has a fairly sizeable amount of the new holiday figures. They were $13.74. Definitely pick them up if you can.

 

E'ville East side Wally World had them, too. I picked one up, it's cool. It's based on the art work (Ralph McQuarrie) of the "Christmas In The Stars" album cover.

Ephant Mon has been alluding me, I guess I need to head West...

 

The WestSide Walmart had the holiday 2packs and the trash compactor sets today

 

TRU had a pretty good selection today. I picked up a Destroyer Droid(which they had several) & also a Jedi Council Yoda(only saw 1).

They also had Vader, Padme, Ani Unleashed, Lott Dodd, Teemto, Watto, Maul Sith Train, Clone Pilot, Jango Pilot, Arena Set, Interactive R2, & much more.

I guess it is the Christmas gift giving season.

 

Congrats to Lord Skywalker for getting his offical title of collecting advisor! Go out into the Tapcafe and do us proud.

A friend called me last night and said K mart has all thier Star Wars stuff 20% off. Time to take advantage of K Mart's misfortune.

 

Walmart West had 2003 figs today I picked up Padme Droid Factory.....Eeeth Koth new package.......and Tusken Raider camp ambush...........oh and the Shuttle Tyderium has shipped I should have it tomorrow or monday

 

I followed up on the Super K lead and bought the last Watto and Lott Dodd. If you are into army builing, they had TONS of battle droids and supper battle droids, $4.11

 

Super Walmart has a limited supply of the Saga Tie Bomber for you vehicle collectors..priced at 28.64

 

Well there are some of you out there(particularly L_S) who know that I am trying to complete my Episode I basic figures collection.

I had it down to 8 figures to go: Darth Sidious Holograph, Amidala Battle(w/Ascension Gun), Jar Jar Swimming, Naboo Royal Guard, Sio Bibble, TC-14, R2-B1, & Pit Droid 2 Pk.

I finally bought the Sidious on e-bay(and saved about $15.00). It arrived yesterday & it's pretty cool. I'm trying to get the rest. Slowly.

On a sad note, I'm beginning to feel like now that Christmas is over no-one in Evansville will be carrying the new stuff...

 

Found Padme Droid Factory Chase,Tusken Camp Ambush, and Rebel Fleet Trooper at Walmart west yesterday

Today both walmarts had the new Action Fleet Republic Gunship,Slave-1 and Rebel Assualt Cruiser and each had Deluxe Clones with speeder
