Due to the rapidly soaring gas prices the price for one bag of ramen noodles at walmart has gone from $.12 to $.16 per bag...this seems to have cause some pretty serious protests at major college campuses

Luckily while in college I worked at Domino's so I didn't eat until I got to work. That saved a TON of money.

Ramen rules. I still eat it (without the seasoning)

ramen is to college students like ambrosia is to greek gods.

I cook boil them in the seasoning then drain off the liquid, yum. or you can add in some canned veggies for a different approach.

Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!

When I was in college, I lived on Ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese. Sometimes I added hot dogs for protein.

Ooh, I may have to go back to that diet soon!

Guess what I had for lunch today? [face_mischief] Btw, hotdogs? How could you even afford them in college to beef up your ramen? If we had the noodles we were lucky!

You know, if I ever move out before I'm out of college, I will try them. Until then, I'll live with my mom's cooking, which is very good.
