SWRPF Archive Colonization of a new world

AT the settlement:

The last of the wounded had just been loaded and everyone was on the last 2 remaining shuttles. The shuttles engines were warming up.

Storm trooper captain: Take the critically wounded to the carrier ship. We will head for Gorin's ship.

The shuttles then lifted off the serface and entered space with their escort fighters as larges waves began to hit the out skirts of the settlement.

 

OOC: this is the last time I can post this year. Next time I know for sure that I can is January 6th, so I think I will forego the 'year later' thing I was thinking about.

IC:

Jo-Ni laughed at his comment, then stopped herself.

"That really isn't funny. You easily could have been killed."

"You may find this strange, but last night, I couldn't stop thinking about you. I...think I love you."

Jo-Ni knew she had to say the words. He had to know, strange as it was. She felt emotion rising in her and she bent over, gently placing a kiss on his lips.

 

OOC: Marna, thank you for the heads up. I hope you and 3-PX can finish you fun correctly. 3-PX thanks for sticking with the thread and have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Orbit:

Dobar's shuttle landed in the carrier ship just as The shuttles fun and junk, plus 4 ties landed with colonists and strom troopers. They had minor bumps and bruses. Medics that had been assigned to the carrier ship and dobar came up and put bandages on their injuries.

Orbit a few minintes later:

Shuttles fun and junk took off for Gorins ship with the serviving stroom troopers. The remaining shuttles and ties approched the 3 large imperial ships. 2 landed in Gorins ship and 2 landed in the carrier ship.

Inside the carrier ship:

The tie pilots after leaving their fighters and stroom troopers, who were assigned to, helped the cridical woounded off of the 2 shuttles and into the medical center. Dobar met them and helped decide who would go first.

Gorin's dreadnought:

The 4 shuttles landed successfully and were met by some of the medical staff. The minorly wounded were taken of care of in the landing bay and the most serious cases were taken to the medical center.

Gorin: You did an excelent job captain! I am promoting you to Major.

Storm trooper captain: Thank you sir.

Then Gorin seeing the injured were being taken care of headed for his bridge.

 

OOC: at my sister's. I'll see if I can post one more time later. I'd like to see a responce, C3PX.

IC:
Jo-Ni pulled back sooner than she wanted to, due to the new arrivals in the Infirmary, and she decided she'd better go.

"Contact me when you're better." she told him seductively as she left.

She hoped he would contact her soon. She really wanted to get to know him better.

 

Ballin sat back dumbfounded. She loved him? How could she love him? And how could he feel like he loves her too. Before he could reach to her and tell her, she slipped out.
"I'll contact you alright." He told the empty doorway, "and I'll get out of here quickly."

The next day Ballin walkek out of the hospital. Med droids tried as hard as they could to keep him there for an other two days.
He limpped his way to No-Ji's tent. He needed to see her.
"Ummm, Hello, No-Ji? Are you in?"

 

OOC: uh, 3PX, we're on a ship.

IC: Jo-Ni opened the door to the quarters she'd been given, Shasta and Jazier perking up a bit. when she saw who was there, her face lit up.

"Ballin! You're out! Come in and sit. I think we have some things to discuss."

Jo-Ni sat and began to say what's on her mind.

"You may think it's crazy, what I said before leaving you last time, but I've thought about it, and I find it's true. I do love you, Major. I need to know if you feel the same way, or if I should apologize for that kiss."

She stopped, an anxiety growing inside, waiting to hear his answer.

 

"Ummmm..errrr..." He leaned forward and kissed her deeply. "I hope that answers your question." He winked and smiled. "I can't stop thinking about you. I see your face before I fall asleep and the moment I wake up. No-Ji, I love you."

His face flushed as he met her gaze.

 

Gorin's bridge:

Gorin sat down in his command chair. Gorin's lutenant walked up to him. Sir, the admiral would like you to communicate with him in the communications center. Thank you lutenant. You have the bridge. Gorin got up and went to the communications center.

Gorins communications center:

Gorin activated the communication equipment.
The admiral appeared in see throught form.

Admiral: How are the serviving colonists doing?

Gorin: The injuryed are being taken care of. The rest are not sure what to think about this last turn of events. With the settlements destruction.

Admiral: Good then we can get out of the system before anything else happens. Inform your crew to jump to hyperspace as quickly as possible. My captain is transmitting The cordinates to you ship and the carrier ship even as we speak. We are going back to the capital to recieve further information about where to go next.

Gorin: Should I anounce to the colonists what is happening?

admiral: yes

 

On the carrier ship:

One of the troopers motioned Dobar to come over to him. We just recieved a message. here it is sir. Dobar said "Thank you(as the trooper walked back to his post)"

Dobar looked to the message over. He then headed for the make shift bridge on the ship.

The make shift bridge:

Dobar handed the message to the new captain who told him to get the other colonists ready to hyperspace and tell them they were returning to the capital. He then ordered
the calculations made for the jump to hyperspace.

On Gorin's dreadnought:

Gorin sat in his command chair on his bridge and activated the intercom system.

To all aboard. we are returning to corisaunt to await further orders. This planet has proven to be unfit for continual habitation. that is all

Gorin turned off the intercom system.

in the carrier ships hanger:

Dobar stood in the hanger and said,"Everyone listen and pass this on. We are leaving this system and returning to corisuant. Prepare for hyper space."

on the admiral's command ship:

The admiral sat on his bridge and actived the intercom system. He said,"To all crew. we leaveing this system and returning to the capitol. Prepare for hyper space.

OOC: I will post my last post here tommorrow night.

 

The admirals ISD Bridge:

Admiral: Are we ready for hyper space?

Captian: Yes, sir. all the calculations are made.

Admiral: On my mark we all go into hyper space for our return the capitol.

On the carrier ship's makeshift bridge:

newly appointed captain: Are we ready for hyper space?

The transportation officer:Yes, sir.

Newly appointed captian: We make the jump on the mark provided us by the admiral in his last message to us.

On Gorin's dreadnought bridge:

Gorin sat in his command chair.

Gorin: Are we ready for the jump to hyper space?

Lutenant: Yes, sir.

Gorin: on the admiral's mark proceed with the jump.

IN orbit of the former colonized world:

Three ships, an ISD, a dreadnought, and a half completed carrier ship blimped into hyper space and disappeared. They left behind a planet in complete disarray as waves from its oceans caused by earth quakes and volcanoes reeked damage of unimaginable scale.

OOC: Thanks for sticking with this thread marna and 3-px. You can finish your developing romance any way you like. This my last post in this thread. Have a happy new year.

 

I have a favor to ask...

Would anyone be interested in taking on my character, Senator Polok, for a while to get him into the action; since I haven't been quite an active poster on the thread since I entered? I just need someone to help him into the story. This way, I will be sure not be harming the story, in any way, trying to do it myself.

All you need to do, if your interested, is PM me and I will give you the info you need for the character. And after everything gets rolling along, I will take him back and try to keep him in the story.

 

Ok I haven't been here for a really long time. My computer has just recently stopped working, and before that my internet crashed for a while, lots of things.

What is going on? Has everyone left the new planet?

OOC: Good to see you two again. Unfortunately, the colony is destroyed, and this is my last post in this thread. Why is it everyone comes back at the end?

IC: Jo-Ni was overjoyed when Ballin confessed his love to her. When he kissed her, she drank it in, not wanting it to end. But it did. She wrapped her arms around him.

"You don't know how glad I am to hear that."


five years later...
Jo-Ni Ballin took her final bows to the audience she had kept entertained for the last hour. Shasta and Jazier had already left the performance cage, and Jo-Ni now left as the lights went down.

Jo-Ni rushed to her dressing room to change out of her performance clothes. Major Ballin waited for her.

"How were they tonight, my love?" Ballin asked.

"As good as ever, my husband. And soon, the cubs will be ready for performances. I'll be ready to go home in about ten minutes."

Jo-Ni left for the shower. As the water ran down her body, she thought of the last five years. Shasta and Jazier became wonderful performing cats, and had added seven cubs to the family.

When she had returned to Coruscant, she learned the Admiral that condemmed her had been replaced, and she was free. When she told Ballin, he nearly resigned his commission, but she convinced him otherwise. She smiled at how ironic it was that she ended out getting married to the one man at that colony she absolutely hated.

Jo-Ni finished up in the shower and got dressed in something more comfortable. She gave Ballin a kiss.

"Now, let's go home."

PS:

Let me add just one simple epilogue to my character...even though I wasn't that active in the thread.

**Five Years Later**

The former Imperial Senator Polok sat in the conference room awaiting some bearded man to get on with his talking.

"General Solo," the man stated, "Is your strike-team assembled?"


The former Imperial Senator was succesful of finding another planet to represent in the Imperial Senate. However, shortly after the news of one of his very own, Representaive Leia Organa(representing Alderaan in the absence of Senator Organa) was captured, the Emperor soon disbanned the galactic body. Afterwards, Polok found yet another planet that was uninhabited, but soon drew Rebel forces there, and began a colony there with a working government and all the works. Soon, he officially goined that planet with the Rebellion, and fought with them in their quest to topple the Empire and bring the glitter of hope and peace back to the galaxy with a new democracy.

And unltimately, this quest met its end - splendidly.

 

OOC: Sorry that I haven't been here for so long, but I'll add an epilogue to my character as well, if that's all right.


~*~Five Years Later~*~

Ezarolia had become tired of her solitary life on an uninhabited planet, and left after the Imperials. She and her now just over two-year-old daughter moved back to Tatooine.

She met a cousin there that she hadn't seen for many years, and was allowed to live with her until she found somewhere else. Her cousin was an advisor to Ryloth's Senator, and she soon became acquainted with him. She was permitted to attend political conferences, and give advice to the Senator.

About a year after she moved, the Senator from Wroona came on a diplomatic mission. She met her and noticed that she had one Twi'lek advisor, a man about three years older than she. She became good friends with the Senator and the Twi'lek advisor.

She learned his name was Hadest Bern'im. The grew closer over the duration of the mission, and by the end were engaged. The wedding was on Tatooine, attended by its highest ranking officials.

She now lives on Wroona with her husband, five-year-old daughter, Kalissa, and eight-month-old son, Tu'luse.
