Color or Colour?

Only Amercian spelling allowed: gray in combination with Noghri. Burned itself into my memory.....

Well, I'm American, so I went with color. However, with a HP fan fic background, as well as learning British English in school, I usually end up using them interchangabley. All depends on my mood, really.

I honestly couldn't agree more.

Yeah, when Americans aren't removing it from words it has every right to be in they're misprouncing other words it's in: it's aluminium not aloominium.

 

C'mon people it's spelled "color" not "colour." Everytime they spell it with a "u" I shake with anger. "colour" Oh, God. "colour" No please stop! "colour" Agh! Stop it! "colour" [bleep] "colour" I said stop it for the love of God! "colour" Damn it! Stop! "colour" That's it. *hits head on table* "colour" *Disappears*

But depending on what I'm writing ( for school, fanfic) and the reason (genre, time frame), I might say "colour." It all just depends, but "color" comes to me more naturally.
