COLOUR, you bloody yanks! If there's no U in it, where do you get the "ur" sound at the end from?

    Bloody Merriam-Webster...! ;)

One of my favorite bands, and a group that is coming back together after almost 9 years apart, helped me decide this:

    Living Colour.

Color. I don't see any reason to defend it or justify it. That's just how we spell it here. If you don't like it, tough!

We also say "Zee" instead of "Zed." You got a problem with that?

    :)

I say Colour, as that is used mostly around the World, with the exception of America.

I am indeed American, but for some reason I always spelled it "colour". I remember getting it wrong on a spelling test when I was a tyke.

Americans don't speak English now. We speak American, as if you noticed the English use many different words now, as do Americans. So, if you're English it's colour, if you're American it's color. What's the big freakin' deal?

I'm American so I say, "COLOR!"

    Color.

I am not a bloody Yankee I am a rascist Reb.

I'm from the south and we spell things how we like it.

We are Americans because we claimed it first.

Mexicans do not call themselves Americans. Neither do Costa Ricans, nor Canadians.

We are Americans and no one else is. Continents do not exist, they are merely what we call big islands.

I'm half and half Amreican/British spelling.

I spell dialog dialogue. I spell certains things brit, and others American.

I think "color" looks better myself. But does it really matter? We all understand what it means no matter which way it's spelled.

I'm British-born but i live in Australia which means I spell it correctly.

    Colour.

I spell everything the British way. Well, except for 'lightsaber' but that's just because it's kinda a word that GL came up with and he spells it like that.. and.. erm... i'll shut up now...

seeing as i'm used to color, i prefer colour, just to be different. but if i were used to colour, i'd be all about the colour.

on a side note, i'd like to state that creme always has and always will taste better than cream
