Color or Colour?

I'm going to be patriotic, old chaps, and go for COLOUR.

Now if you excuse me, i'm off for tea and crumpets.

I'm Scotish, so I write proper English. However, when I'm on the net (especially the JC) , I tend to spell everything the American way.

 

I live in the US, so I do write it as 'color,' but I prefer seeing it as 'colour.'

i'm scottish, and although, i'm not going to go on an anti-english tirade, i will say i spell it colour. and the language is called english for a reason you know.

Even with the U it still sounds the same so the British are using an extra letter, it wastes time writing!

Since I use international spelling variants and I'm meticulous, I voted for colour. I enjoy seeing the French influences in the English language.

 

Oddly enough, I spell it with the U in here and when I'm physically writing it or using the word outside a messageboard, I don't use the U. I also say the word 'mate' in here. I don't think I've ever actually uttered it before.
