SWRPF Archive Colosseum: Return to the Arena

Welceom to the Arena ladies and gents. Here one can test their skills against another in one on one combat. There is no real story background to this so anything, with in reason, is welcomed.

But this is no ordinary arena. Every so many meters are hidden traps and devices of both organic and inorganic weapons. They can range from borish jelly spitting turrents to mini-blaster cannons to assassin droids to feriocious man eating red cougars! These traps are activated by a warm and living body that step within their sensor range which varies from twenty meters to one meter to hundreds of feet. So be careful where you step for you may cross the border into disaster!

All around you are thousands of spectators waiting to see the gore and violence of the gladiators who fight in the arena! In the Royal Box is the Emperor of the Galactic Empire and his Empress. He is eager to watch the verocious fights and he waits to reward the victory of each battle, an honor no warrior can refuse!

In this arena only melee weapons such as amphistaffs, lightsabers, knives, etc are allowed. Projectile or range weapons such as blasters or plasma guns are prohibited, that includes the poison venom from amphistaffs.

I will not game master this except when people god moding and I only do that if it is brought to my attention. In the case that I or my oppenant is breaking the rule, the Zebra Stripes will be handed over to another to judge.


Rules
1. No God Moding, Force-Users included.
2. No Range or Projectile Weapons
3. Players can not post oppenants damage.
4. Players must post damage in accordance to the attack made upon them.
5. Players can not post the death of others.
6. Players must admit defeat or death when there is no possible and reasonable escape or if a fatal injury prevents escape.
7. All players must oblige by their character profile when playing. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from the game.
8. Character Profile Sheet must be filled completely.
9. Force-Users are limited to two attempts per ability.
10. Player Inventions are prohibited.

History: Born in the deep regions of space onboard a his parents space craft. Jean never knew where home was. At age six, his ship crashed on a desolate planet. While searching for food/shelter, he stumbled accross a Sith Halycron. Using it to learn the ways of the force, Jean became a knight very soon after. years later, he finnaly repaired his craft and flew off the desolate planet.

Huh? Force Weakness is suppose to be the abilities you are not capable of doing. For example: Corran Horn can not do telekenitic powers such as Force Push, Force Choke, Force Pull, Force Throw, and so on.

The crowd of a hundred thousand in the colosseum roared with excitement and an eagerness to witness bloodshed and gore. The noise was defeaning as Mitth stepped through the arena entrance and strode proudly to the center.

He bowed before the Emperor and Empress before turning to the crowd and giving them his undying attention. The crowd roared and appeared that the colosseum could not contain their excitement. He lowered his raised arms and motioned for the crowd to fall silent and they did with only a quiet buzz of murmuring people.

He was their favorite and he knew they would be betting on him to win the scheduled battles ahead. He would not disappoint the crowd nor the royalty who sat behind him in their elaborate viewing box.

"Let the challengers come forth and taste defeat!" He bellowed and one of the arena entrances force field disappeared to allow the challengers in.

Walking into the colosseum, jean heard the cries of many a boo's from the fans in the stands. Pieces of food were being thrown, but none ever seemed to hit the dark sith. Pulling his cloak further over his head, to shield his thoughts from the people around him, jean walked forward twards the tall Chiss warrior.
