FF:SA Combined SAFF / 501st / RL Costume Event - Clone Wars Sun 10 August

TK1571 forwarded on a request from someone at Roadshow films who would like some costumed characters to attend at the premiere of Clone Wars on Sunday August 10th. The movie is expected to start at 10:30am, but I think they want characters there from around 10:00am.

They have no particular character requests, just Star Wars characters from any films

It will be held at Greater Union cinemas in the city.

There's a maximum of 20 spots available.

My Understanding Oz is that it's not a Paid Film, It's one of those deals that they invite media and special guests to. (someone correct me if i am wrong). So i would say no on the general public question. The idea being that they get as many Star Wars Costumers as possible to add atmosphere to the film, it unfortunately means that those of us in armor are going to have to work out a quick way of getting out of it

 

Ahh. Okay. I'm happy to be an 'official' photographer for you all anyway (gotta give the new camera a workout). Or get a costume together before then...

 

Catherine and myself can attend , as a jedi and as Kitt Fisto in Clone armour. Hot-dang!

Sorry, I was just informed that I accidentally copied the wrong list. Sorry Cho! All fixed, and all full by the looks of things, unless the two held 501st positions become available.

Edited: We've got a new person on the RL (harry) who is getting together a jedi costume, and would like to come along if a spot becomes available.

 

..oh well there goes that idea......

 

I think as many Star Wars people in costume who want to come can come. But only 20 will see the movie.

I could be wrong.

 

I think there was an opportunity for more tickets if they were needed...

Are we going to have a Vader there ?? Hunky is away at the moment, correct ?

Would be a pity if Hunky could attend & there wasn't a spot for him.
