FF:SA Combined SAFF / 501st / RL Costume Event - Clone Wars Sun 10 August

Hey all just spoke to Greater Union cinemas they said the best car pack which is basically next door is SECURE PARK on north terrace next to the embassy hotel apparently there is a side door which leads to the cinema from the car park hope this helps!

There are two possibilities for parking, but both cost.

Hopefully that helps. I'll be parking in the second one ... though from experiences of others, best to keep any valuables hidden in your car.

Alas, my snowbunny padme is not quite ready to wear tomorrow. It's mostly done, but I would rather get sleep than rush to get it finished for tomorrow.

Just jumped on while i could to say a big sorry to all for not attending. I was told last night that i had lacrosse training tonight so i didn't have time to go to both and as i was not actually going to be going into the movie i just decided to avoid the extra hassle.

A very big thankyou to TK for the costume offer and a VERY big sorry for not letting you know that i couldn't make it.

Was an absolutely brilliant day, with so many costumes.

A big thankyou to all those who came down to make this a great event,also Quin, who came down for a short time despite being very ill(hope you're feeling better now)

Was a GREAT turn out & great to troop with a number of people I've either not trooped with before or at the least for a very long time. Was great to catch up with you again Niko & Arctic Fox, haven't trooped with you for some time & was great to see you guys again.

We filled most if not all of the 30 positions and should make for a fantastic group photo. (Hopes that someone will put one up very soon)

managed to get the tickets back for the collectors also,I think that made evil happy *lol*, they didn't give me any grief there.

Thankyou again everyone, had a really good time today & was great to have a bite to eat after with you guys.

EVERYONE did SAFF, the 501st & Rebel Legion proud today !

Yeah tell me about it... Been sick now for the better part of eight weeks and it's starting to really annoy me

 

what an awesome Turnout, so many excellent costumes... Catherine was in charge of the camera and I just concentrated on breathing. She got some brilliant photos, so as soon as we visit someone with a computer we'll download them...she took about 70. Oh and the movie rocked as well. What was with the 5 seconds of Fisto.... more fisto and now.
