Sorry about the delay on this, but I only just got confirmation of the schedule.

For those of you who weren't at the barbeque, I sugested taking advantage of the free access to cable access filming equipment provided by Comcast to get experience on putting together films.

The orientation class is tonight (Tuesday, 7/5) at 6:00 PM. After the orientation, people can sign up for which position on the production class they want (Audio, Graphics, Director, Technical Director, three camera positions). You can also sign up for a remote camera class after taking the orientation. Everything's pretty quick, assuming there are enough participants to warrant doing anything.

If you cannot attend the orientation tonight, there a take-home in-booklook test that could be picked up and brought back at your convienence.

The in-studio classes this month will be the 12th and 13th at 6-8PM, and possiblt the 19th and 20th at 4-6PM. The first day is a tutorial over the "job" you signed up for, the second is filming of a 15 minute class project for broadcast later.

The orientation and studio are at the Comcast Community Production Facility at 1717 East Buckeye, Spokane. The entrance is at the east side of Building #2 (to the left if you enter the parking lot from the front). Their number is 484-4931 ext 52282.
