Well, believe it or not, count me in for 3+ baby Jessica.

Our friend Stan Sullivan is coming in from San Diego (the same guy some of you met at SDCC on Sunday). He's heading out here for the weekend to get away from the Navy for a weekend, and we thought we'd take him up to Flag. If you'll have us, of course.

We went up Saturday and absolutely loved it!!! This is another chance to get up and see something that looks and feels like home (Denver), as well as have a good time and show Stan more of AZ. And hang out with you lunatics.

Could someone give me the Cliff notes version of what, where, when, etc? And Meg might want to give me some info so that I can post the story on the main FF site.

We'll be meeting at Motel 6 and then once everyone is accounted for, we'll caravan to Thorpe Park for the BBQ. There'll be food, fun, and a Kiss Wars hosted by myself and the Queen. Prizes will be awarded. After the BBQ, we'll be heading to Hastings to promote FanForce in Flagstaff. We'll stay there for a while and then pack up everything and head downtown for some fun.

I'll PM you all the details and the story to post after I get back from class Obey.



I also wanted to see if any of you would like to go shooting out in the woods on Sunday before you left....hee hee! I know I do! IA says he'll join me...any other takers?

Just a quick note to anyone who may not have heard, I don't intend to go to Flag largely because I need a weekend to rest. (And recently to deal emotionally with another problem, but thats another matter). SO you don't have to harass Void with the "WHere's Mick?" I'm just taking the weekend off.

HOTEL:

Address: 2010 E. Butler Ave.

Directions: Take I-17 North from Phoenix to Flag. When you get to the Flagstaff exits, take exit 198 (I-40 E exit). Then take the Butler Ave. exit. At the light at the bottom of the exit, turn left. The Motel 6 will be on your right before the McDonalds and across the street from the Burger King.

If you get lost you can call them at 928-774-1801 or you can call me on my cell at 928-607-3378.

The Motel 6 does have a swimming pool. The two rooms on the reservation are adjoining and under my name.

Master Duron has agreed to bring flyers and Diesel Dave is bringing a T.V. I am supplying the table and as many chairs as I can find. If you really want a chair, please haul one with you, I can bring maybe 4-5 chairs.

If I have made a mistake or forgotten anyone or anything, please let me know.

Remember: Bring your ROCKIN' selves, your costumes, cameras and anything else your little heart desires! Oh and don't forget the Kiss Wars at the BBQ.

ACK !!!!! Why does .45 ammo have to be so expensive ????

That and it's been a while since I've been. I'd rather sneak some practice in and perform up to par the first time shooting with this group.

 

Awww c'mon Void I'm sure I'm not a better shot than you...you can still come!

Pick a gun with ammo cheaper than a .45! That'll solve it, or I can provide a .22 rifle..I know it's not the same, but at least it's cheap! I wanna see ya in action!

Do you have a practical pistol range there ? (the kind with the cement walls and the pop-up targets ?) I love running through those, and they closed the one at the South Mountain range.


Oki, are there any calibre limits there ? What ranges are availible...out to 300 yards ? or just pistol distances ?

 

RoyalRedCynic and I would love to go shooting but we're going to see his aunt and uncle in Holbrook on Sunday. They have 80+ acres in the petrified forrest area. BTW if we ever want to do a fan film of our own Jundland Wastes scenes, their property is awesome for it. VERY cool terrain.
