Look for Maisie Williams to play a young Sara Connor in the Terminator Prequel Trilogy Episode I: The Phantom Terminator.

 

Well, the original script had the reveal happening during "the third act". There have been rewrites, no doubt, but considering how happy trailers are to spoil their audiences... yeah.

 

I find it odd that Matt Smith isn't being promoted via the posters.

 

Maybe the real spoiler involves him? It's possible that the Connor Terminator isn't really Connor, and that Matt Smith is a physical representation of Skynet and is trying to mess with Sarah Connor, Reese and the rest of the human resistance.

 

So. When I saw a headline saying a recent trailer revealed a HUGE plotline spoiler I stayed out of this thread and away from all terminator related anything. I go see Mad Max and what happens? Blam, Terminator spoiler trailer. I forgot all about it until the spoiler hit my ears. ****!

 

Well, they decided to let the cat out of the bag possibly because it wasn't tracking very well.

 

And they thought that would track better?

 

It's just evidence that I am not their target audience. I was sold on it without the spoiler.

 

It would make people who were curious, but not entirely committed to make up their mind.

 

I'm seeing this just for the lols.

 

I bet the movie will be a comedy

 

New Terminator and New Jurassic Park are competing to see which movie can be more packed with dumb. Shaping up to be a true photo finish.

 

Will we ever see a return to a more realistic style movie poster? The Avengers posters were ugly and contrived but this one takes the cake. Look at that thing. It's like a Rob Liefeld come to life. That must be a composite of at least five different bodies. Standing in fire. Crookedly holding a Terminator skull. Which is still working. On the Golden Gate bridge. Crumbling apart.

 

Always let audiences know which architectural landmarks are up for demolition. That's summer movie marketing 101.

 

I guess Sam Raimi took that one a bit too literally.

 

That image reminds me how much I love the suit design in the Raimi Spidey movies.

As long as you're complaining, Watto... They've changed the font too.

 

If the movie features one or two scenes of Emila Clarke shotgunning Terminators in the face, I'd consider this at least a pass.

They're probably not entirely wrong on that: I'm certainly more interested in watching it now that I was before I saw the trailer.

 

So I'm usually not great at entering competitions that require an answer in 25 words or less but there was a promotion for Genysis that asked;
Which two characters from the Terminator films would you like to see in an ultimate showdown?

My answer was decribed a showdown between Sarah Connor (Hamilton) and the T-X.

So either there weren't many contestants or somebody liked my answer because I just received an email saying;
"Congratulations you have won a double pass to the Special Advance Footage Screening of Terminator Genisys with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jai Courtney on Thursday 4 June, 2015."

I'm guessing I don't actually get to see the whole film a month early though
