Waco, TX Comic Book Club

So anyone what to start the bookclub back up?

 

That would be cool. But let's expand our book selection, like maybe Tolkien and Stephen King. What do you think?

 

I tried to read Tolkien but I just can't

 

Well only John and I read the last Stephen King book...

 

How about comic books? Haha. They have pretty pictures.

 

Comic books are better reading than atleast 50% of the real books out there so.

 

A comic club would be really cool.

We could pick one day a month to talk about wha tcomics have come out.

 

That sounds cool to me Elizabeth. Sunday sounds like a good day to hold the meetings. Although, you know how we get sidetracked with other stuff.

 

I think it would be awesome, it would force people to broaden their horizons, and see what good comic writing, art are and their importance.

 

So we could get together around the end of the month.

Say the last Saturday of each month. How does that sound?

 

Ok so when do what to have the first meeting?

Next Saturday is out.

It's fine with me, but I just figure we'd have more time on Sunday afternoon when there isn't a dang thing on tv.

Assuming everyone is over his or her colds and flues.

We had a lot of great stuff come out so far this year.

 

Good idea Elizabeth. I haven't filed any of the comics I have bought this month, so I'm set.

I had another idea about what we could do at the meeting. Each of us could read a comic that another in the group collects that you don't collect normally. Make sense?
