Memph, TN Comic Book Con/ Multi-State Fan Force Party: August 9 Can we get a head count here?

OK. The Comic Book thing has been mentioned before.

But, It's time for you guys to haul it across the river.

Why? There is a small Comic Book Convention here in Little Rock which Henry (aka Nyborg13) is trying to work out getting some of you Bushi Tales people
to come and have some table space... Thats cool BUT.... The real event is the party afterwards at the home of the former CR and Founder of the Arkansas Fan Force.

When? August 9. Comic book thing in the day... Partay in the night.

Where? Comic book thing is in Little Rock (downtown) Party in Carlisle (you're in luck cause thats closer to you guys home)

There will be crash place provided. Henry's has lots of space.

There will be a margarita machine that will need defeated......

And, hopefully... Some of the Dallas folks will come down with me... So, we can see which group is best at defeating the alcohol machine..

This event now has a name ....

AND IT SHALL BE CALLED......
GEEK FEST "08"

We are looking at burgers and dogs, fries cole slaw and if we are lucky even a little fried catfish.
Plus the usall chips and dip for afterwards.

Lots of floor space and 4 incliners or two couches depends on who wants what.

Also if you have anything you want to trade or sell you can bring and we can have a small swap meet or somthing like that.

So are we talking about swap meet at the con or at the party?

 

So as not to take any business awy from the Con I suggested we do any selling or swapping at my house. The dealer table are $40 I think at the con and thats really the only money they take in except fpr the $3 at the door. But for the Artist doing autographs and several of us in costume we dont pay but usally I try and give them a few bucks anyway just to help them out.

 

Tell you what, even if I'm a guest I'll pay admission, and I'd ask that everyone else do the same. I think we should do all we can to support these guys since they're putting this thing on. If we can add to their event as being guests, then that's even better. Otherwise, they're not out an admission if we don't draw any extra guests.

 

I agree with Tim... It's just $3.00 after all...

I beleive the only child is Tre'. Hes seen several of the puppets and we went to TFP the other day. Heck its Tre'...
