While it's still a bit early, would anyone be opposed to only 8 rounds of drafting over the usual 10 so that we can speed up the drafting process a bit?

 

Yes, actual drafting started almost two FULL days ago so we better speed things up before we finish the first round and people start losing interest! *total sarcasm*

In other news, list looks fun to me.

 

I guess I don't see the cause for alarm, minch. Do you really think people will struggle when we will only have 100 picks go off the board? It doesn't seem that daunting to me.

 

Vanish? I guess until play offs because I did make it? I lost every match but what--two? I* (or a guest GM like Yakkers since my numbers were atrocious and lost me practically every time) put numbers for every round. Don't know what else there is to do after such a monster team loses every match, hard to keep bashing your head against the argument wall. No one is going to argue a match that is close when we wrap up a number after a couple hours.

EDIT: Beside I don't think too many people would disagree that drafting is more interesting than the matches anyway. We have seen just about every match possible and it is pretty obvious how people judge them anymore. Especially since the GM list rarely changes more than a name or two. At least the list changes, rather drastically I may add, from Draft to Draft.

 

so i'm reading spawn dark ages, and i have to say i'm kind of curious how lord covenant ever made it into a draft. as of ten issues in there's really no indication of what he can... do other than teleport. interesting story though, if somewhat disjointed.

 

Yeah Onslaught....don't get me started on that. I would go quietly yes because as I said, so so many of these matches we have seen. Back as far as the first draft I was in I am still sour about some of the calls but no point in crying over spilled milk here again. But If you go back and read other drafts I could argue those matches literally for days and it would rarely change any of the judges opinions. So being that this is my Xth draft I have learn when to just roll over and get Durron-ed if you will.

 

Everyone has had bad calls made against them, and anyone who has judged has probably made a call most people disagreed with. Get over it already.

 

Well, I think I'll at least be nice to the new GMs.

These lists operate the same way the team picks on the individual list do. So, when you pick a character from the Teen Titans team, for example, you get to pick a second character from that list at the same time.

This only applies to each team list. You can't pick Superboy and Wolverine at the same time. But you could pick Superboy and Tim Drake together or you could pick Wolverine and Boom-Boom(because they are both X-men).


DarkEagle you still have another character to pick from the Teen Titans list only.
