Just checked the RL boards and it looks like they're holding their own SW Breakfast on Friday, July 23 at 8 am at the Hyatt. I'm sure it'll be cheaper than the official breakfast on Saturday, and there'll be more people in costume! Anyone wanna go?

 

It looks like the 501st/RL/FF dinner is scheduled for Friday night, July 23 @ 8:15 p.m. It will be at Buca di Beppo's, 705 6th Ave. Tix are $35 each, and must be paid by MONEY ORDER only. Menu includes: appetizer, salad, choice of two pastas, main entree, dessert, all non-alcoholic drinks, and tax & gratuity. The cost also covers the celebs who will be attending the dinner also. Payments must be received on or before JULY 7. E-mail me for address, or check the RL forums. I'll also bring the addy to the meeting.

"Attention all 501st, RL and FF members:

This will be the official place to check for information on the 501st sponsored dinner set to occur Friday July 23rd at 8:15pm at Buca di Beppo's 705 6th Ave.

The cost of the dinner is $35 per person. An extra $7.00 is being charged per person attending to cover the cost of attending celebrities (list to be finalized and posted later). Payment will be made via Money Order only!!! Please do not send payment via personal check, since processing time may not guarantee payment is verified prior to July 7th.

All payments must be sent to the San Diego Squad Leader. See the link above for the address to mail the payment to.

Payments must be received on or before July 7th to verify confirmation of the paid attendees. Any payments not received prior to July 7, 2004 are not guaranteed a reserved spot at the dinner.

The menu will be posted when it has been finalized with the restaurant.

The cost of $35 includes the following:
- appetizer
- salad
- choice of 2 pasta's
- main entree'
- desert
- all non-alcoholic drinks
- tax & gratuity
* alcoholic drinks will be the responsibility of the individual

The final list of paid / confirmed attendees will be posted July 8th.

I'm still trying to figure out if I can go. LDV got me all talked into going at the last second.

Mark Hamill HAS been confirmed for Comic-Con! But they're charging $85 for his autograph. But I'm just hoping for him to personalize an autographed photo of mine.

 

Birdies told me Ray Park is going to be there!!

 

And what's this I hear on TFN about Fan Films being cancelled from comic con?

 

I haven't hear anything offically about that. Where'd ya hear that from? As for the official SW Breakfast, I'm considering going and spending the $58, seeing as to how many celebrities will be there, AND the fact that Carrie and Mark will be there only on Saturday.

 

The fan film cancellation news was dated July 2 on Fanfilms.com. Basically TFN.

 

Looks like JEREMY BULLOCH (Boba Fett) will be there too!

 

The first 300 people to sign up at www.hasbro.com/star wars, on Monday July 12 will get the chance to "audition" at Comic-Con to be in Hasbro's upcoming Star Wars Trivial Pursuit DVD!

Looks like it's myself, Dale, Eva, and CJ for the official SW Breakfast on Saturday morning. I hope its worth the $58! As for the Rebel Legion Breakfast on Friday, I put myself, Dale and 4 more for anyone who can get up early enough!

Almost forgot: keep your eyes out for the SW.COM webcam. They'll be doing live feeds!

 

They just finalized the programming schedule. From "A list" stars (Keanu Reeves, Jude Law, etc.) to "Z list stars (Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, etc.) will be there! Possibly Milla Jovovich too! Can't wait!

 

I'm not supposed to say it until it's announced officially, but there's a HUGE SW prop that's being shipped to ComicCon on Monday...

 

Oooooooooh! I bet I know what it is!! Get lots of pictures! Have a great time guys, if not for yourselves then for me and all of us not able to go this year.
