San Diego, CA Comic-Con 2005 General Info thread

Would we still get exhibitors badge? I dunno if I have enough money to go all four days outta my own pocket

 

Thats up to the licensees. I would think most likely you would get a badge, whether it was an exhibitors badge or not, is up to the licensees.

 

once again jealous of everyone... I just read that scholastic will be there and is hosting a HUGE party at their booth on the evening of the 16th and handing out tons of HP stuff at the con! I wanna go now!

edit: When is the offical release date then for the harry potter book?. Just read that article great kids are going to be walking around comic con with tattoos up their arms.

 

I would be shocked if they weren't... but here is the article: here, the book comes out in 16 days, 4 hours and 13 minutes, 30 seconds or July 16th.

Bought a new sewing machine at Sears (yay credit cards) so I'm back in production on costumes.

Finally, this year?s Comic-Con International magically coincides with the nationwide release of J.K. Rowling?s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on July 16. To celebrate the book?s release, Scholastic has planned a series of giveaways throughout the convention-everything from pens to tattoos. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16 Scholastic will hold a Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince booth celebration for all young Comic-Con attendees.


What do you think they mean by "young?" I'm younger than Dumbledore (who isn't?), but a heckuva a lot older than a Hogwarts student.

But Can Linda or Donna , please Tell Mary I am a NON Costume Member so if there is any problem , the rest of the days i will fill in open slots the the Club Both !!!
