and so you'll be down here, wondering where to spend that extra money that you'll be saving by temporarily not being up there...

 

Oh yeah i wouldn't miss it just would have to give me some more details on it. I have been trying to get in contact with cyndi hoping she was going. also trying to convince some local members to come with me i am sure maybe 2 will be able to go. with proper modivation. (The Force)[face_alien_1]

i would not wish the Cheese O Doom on anyone - except maybe for Chicagoans, although it would pale in comparison to true Chicago pizza.

Oh, they've definitely got a booth! Otherwise, I'm out of a job at CC this year . Seriously, Anne from OfficialPix has been in contact with me to work, so they'll be there for sure.

Rebel Fleet Troopers are "officially" assembling Saturday morning to take on the Stormtroopers during the Droid Hunt.

If you are Rebel Legion members, the Rebel Legion Breakfast is Friday morning at the Mariott. The time has not been posted yet.

 

im not a member of the Rebel Legion, but I will join the Rebel Legion when I get my costume together, thanks for the info, I can't wait to meet with you guys.

 

I have two new acquaintances from Illinois that will be joining us at Comic-Con for the first time this year. Arnie and Marjorie host one of the highest rated Podcasts on the Internet, Star Wars Action News, on which they present Star Wars collector news and features weekly. The two of them are hoping to meet people from the SDSWS and other Fan Forces, particularly in Los Angeles and San Francisco, where they will also be spending some time during their 10-day trip culminating with Comic-Con. If anyone would like to help them make contacts and get around during their time in California, they would greatly appreciate it. They are looking forward to meeting fellow Star Wars fans and collectors. And, who knows, they may end up mentioning us to their worldwide audience.

I posted on the inactive board of the IE about Comic-Con 2006 so we the "IE" can expose ourselves to the rest of socal. There's been a couple people on the board but very little. The IE will rise again

 

Larry, lots of people from LA and San Francisco come down for con each year. I'd be happy to introduce them to people I know in both those fanforce chapters.

 

If all goes as planned, about 16 of us from the SFFF will be coming down!
