Our landing party has arrived accoding to the latest intel.

They should be buying the latest goodies and sweating profusely as this is posted.

Temp is only 78%, but the humidity is 64% as well.

Steeeeemy, yet still the party goes on. And perhaps a meeting, they got a quorum there.

And a special thanks to our friend(s) who support us where ever our little band travels, mucho gracias.

Hawk, reporting in. Landed safe and sound last night at around 2010 hours. I am sure reports will be forthcoming from both myself as well as Master K. After some sleep...yess....sleeep.

The Parrot had a M-K sighting!!!!
    But...(wait for it)...not in 'real life' --

Imagine my disappointment that I could not physically run into Master K in amongst, oh, pssh, a trifling 120,000 people (this estimated number on very good authority from con staff on Sun night). I don't go to the masquerades, since most of the good industry parties are Sat night, and I'd rather drink for free than look at more fan costuming (been there, done that).

    BUT!

I saw your photo, in the Sunrider Base tabletop advertising, on the mezzanine of the exhibit hall, next to the 501st table! And I *have* seen you before at other cons, now that I have a face to put with the name. So I guess it's like the Reliant and the Enterprise in the nebula --- so verrrry close...

WorldCon should be a smaller and more confined target. Photon torpedoes ready to fire...

I know you ComicCon goers saw this, but I'm posting it here so I can watch it again and again.

I've been playing Jedi Academy and chucking stormies off ledges, picking them up using choke and banging them into walls since that game came out and I discovered you could DO that, heh, went dark side all over them, so to speak.

But this is really slick action, I hope they do this for the PC, I really don't want to have to buy a dang game platform to play it.

    Cool beans though.

So what else, other than the big parade news and the London thing, did you hear about? What other promised "surprises" did they deliver?

Yeah, that game-test footage is sweet.

Ok, here is a link to all the pictures I took at Comic-Con. Photos are divided into four galleries - pirates, 501st, Rebel Legion, and then random odds and ends. I've only annotated a few of them so far, but at least they're available to anyone who wants to right-click and save. They are FULL SIZE, so if you want a high resolution pic, just click on it until you get the large size and save away!

    Also...PDQ Pirates! We're on YouTube!

    Very cool indeed!

And looks like someone is having a ball as Revan again.

And bummer, the link in the earlier post for the game mechanics got taken away and the following message is in its place:

This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Lucasfilm because its content was used without permission

Which is kind of sad, because really it was promoting their games anyway :shrugs:

Voldemort (Sith Lords ain't askairt of wizards) and the Obi-Wan are figures that were on display at the Gentle Giant booth. They're not all that big, actually, although it's hard to tell scale in the photos. :)

It was so cool to see your lovely wings!
