San Diego, CA Comic Con 2007 - July 26-29 (Preview night the 25th)

Donny, Dan, and Lesley are pictured in the Official Star Wars Blog photostream.

Starwars.com writer Bonnie Burton referred to us as the "San Diego Fab Force" in the caption.

 

This was the first year I got to meet Bonnie, and she was super cool.

I look really tired in that picture though! I love the pictures of Donny and Dan.

I have a ton of pictures for Bantha Tracks this time of the Nerf wars, Droid Hunt, and other events.

 

Donny had no idea that it was Bonnie taking the picture....she kinda just sprang up on him.....that is why his shoulderbell is doing funny things

 

Bonnie was hilarious at the How to Draw Star Wars panel. While Tom Hodges was sketching, she would take quick polls, asking questions such as, "Who likes Bea Arthur?" and "Who likes George Lucas's hair?"

The Bantha Tracks deadline is Tuesday evening, 31 July. If you include brief descriptions or captions, you'll improve your chances of having your pictures included in the next edition.

It was very fun this Con ! Hey, Does anyone know who the other TIE Pilots are by name... ? (I know, I'm terrible with names, what can I say ?) They said They bought the hoses for their helmets from HomeDepot, but I can't find them. I was hopeing they could tell me exactly what kind of hoses they are... thanks ! Oh, I got ANOTHER package from the Japanese Garrison ! Not much this time except some Star Wars Fliers and such in Japanese... I'll bring them to the recovery party...

Is that clone trooper Suit of Donny's a kit job? Or is that home built or something?

 

It came in very rough kit form which had to be trimmed, glued together, reinforced with fiberglass, and the seams bondoed over. Then I had to paint it all. Some of the stuff was homemade, like the pauldron which I made from leather.

Ah, ok. i was hoping you had access to the molds for the clone trooper, because im trying to find some moulds to scan and make my own set.

You can never get enough slave Leia pics, especially when two of them have me in them. I like the one with the mini-clonetrooper though. I think he has a big grin under that mask.

Which TIE's names were you looking for? I was the one with the incomplete cog on the top right of my helmet and the "Cyclops" visor underneath. I don't know if it was you who asked me, but my hoses were from Home Depot, and they are wet/dry vacuum hoses.

 

The only TIEs I knew were Matt and Kim Knight. Sorry!

scalpers are just a plague to be honest...

Its one thing if you bought tickets to an event, and truly can't go and just have someone buy them from you to get your money back.

Its a completely different issue if you buy tickets over and over and just resell them for profit.

Unfortunately it happens every year and there simply isn't a way to catch them all.
