AUTOGRAPH schedule (non-Official Pix):
hey guys, It's mark. Hope everyone is great!!! Just wanted to say hi and That I'm going to be going to Comic-Con on Friday this year. I'll give you guys calls on Friday, but I would love to see you, even if its just to sit and hang at the star wars hall h thing. Hope to see you guys
A lot of us will be at the Rebel Legion photo shoot on Friday morning at 8:30 am if you can make it. It's facing the water behind the convention center on the semi-circle steps. Dale and I will be at the slave Leia photo shoot at 11 am at the Gentle Giant booth later that day as well.
We might even go to the big local Toys R Us midnight madness event that night for the release of the new Clone Wars toys. It'll be big, with lots of media there!
It will be great to see you. You will get to see the first public event for my new jedi costume.
who's gonna arrive at san diego first on wednesday? my friend and i are arriving san diego around 130, dropping our luggage to our hotel then head down to the convention center.
Kristin Kreuk will be signing at Capcom's booth on Thursday from 12 to 1 pm!
Hey Kevin, I'm going to be trying to get her autograph for Ming so if you want to plot strategy, let me know. I will probably try to go by capcom on weds night to get a feel for how they are going to do things.
i have two friends who work at capcom and will ask them how i can get a head start in the KK autograph line. they won't be at the con but i'll let u know if they have any inside info.
Hey.....great!!! I will try and make it early to the first shoot, but if not I will see you guys at the slave leia shoot and the booth. Can't wait to catch up and share pics of my little princess Leia. See you soon!!!!!!!!
If you were planning on participating in the Supercolossal Fan Race on Thursday, save time by registering online at:
Just a reminder that online registration for the Supercolossal Fan Race ends Wednesday, July 23 at 9 PM PDT.
This urban clue-solving puzzle race starts at
Thursday, July 24th at 7 PM
under the "Coming Together" mosaic sculpture
at the south end of the San Diego Convention Center (outside Hall H).
Teams of two will be solving clues based on movies, comics, TV shows, and games while roaming around downtown San Diego on foot for a couple hours. What might you need to know? superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, and other geeky genre things. Yup, there'll be some Star Wars stuff ;-) [not much, but it's in there]
First place prize is $200.
Not familiar with downtown San Diego? No problem - all teams will get a handy map of downtown to help them in the race!
I know there's a lot to do during Comic-Con, but don't pass on this unique chance to show off your geeky knowledge in an exciting race for a chance at $200.
If you miss online registration, we will also accept on-site registration prior to the race start time - just bring $20 (entry fee for team of two) and a pen!
San Diego Rocket Race
Cool, thanks Kevin. This would make ming's day!
No, getting hers AND Dwayne Johnson's autograph would!
I'm headed to work and then later to the airport. See you guys tonight!
I had a great time seeing all you guys
another comic con has come and past! this year i concentrated in getting autographs.kristin kruek, hayden pantierre, eliza dushku, joss whedon, terminator sarah connor chronicles cast, and the Laker girls were my treasures for this year. unfortunately most of the con was spent standing in line for the autographs.
i thought that hasbro had a horrible system for buying the exclusives. had to fall in line upstairs at Sails Pavillion to get a ticket with a timeframe to fall in line again to buy their toys. fortunately i was able to buy all the exclusives that i wanted. the only exclusive i passed on was the batman and joker figures and the he-man king grayskull figure.
the starwars panel was the only one i was able to watch and i thought it was pretty bland. other than showing a segment of the clone wars movie there was nothing! at least it wasn't an ad filled panel! i was expecting an announcemnt of c5 but no dice.
all in all comic con was okay.
Yeah, the lines are getting worse every year. Even angelica was commenting on how you have to wait hours in line even for the free stuff. Fortunatly there were not many exclusives I wanted this year so I did not have much shopping. I chose to just walk around and enjoy the sights instead of trying to get any of the free stuff. I did get to see the two panels I wanted to see, Sarah Connor and BSG (especially since it is the last one for bsg) so I was happy about that but that took up most of Saturday. I'm not sure I will go next year because the lines are starting to take the fun out of it. Even Sunday is starting to get crowded. It might be nice to go to a new one next year. It was nice getting to spend time with all of you folks though.
Well, Dale and I registered Sunday for next year, the 40th anniversary of Comic-Con!
For those who missed some panels, here's some pics:
Does anyone know if they aired the clips they filmed for The Tonight Show or Triumph for Late Night With Conan O'Brien yet? Some familiar faces were interviewed!
