If Legacy ends, I hope it does so with the Sith being extinguished for once and for all!
That issue's subtitle should be, "The Prophecy of the Chosen One really actually fulfilled this time... Maybe."
So they are mentioning something from 25-30 years ago as if it is somehow relevent to the current state of affairs?
"Yeah, Del Rey totally did there own thing in 1978 and 1984, so yeah, thats how it is now"
I'm sorry, if that is actully what they are trying to say they clearly are trying to put one past people. And even when they did do those early books & comics, they totally still had concern for the films. They were continuing and expanding upon the story of characters from the films. Daley didn't write Han Solo's Revenge and kill off Han & Chewie. That would have been having no concern for the films. Even including a humaniod Jabba in Marvel was showing a concern for the films.
Sounds more like spin to me than anything else.
fixed. I meant actually and permanently
How do you know what it means?
In Episode One, the Jedi thought that Balance needed to be brought to the Force... while thinking the Sith were extinct.
Only in Episode Three do the Jedi seem to have come to the conclusion "it must mean he will destroy the Sith!", and in the same conversation Yoda points out that that could be wrong, they could be misinterpreting it.
@Darth Ridiculis and I were joking.
I had an idea which is a pretty good idea, in my opinion, but I'm afraid it will just add insult to injury since it won't happen anyway... if DR hold their breath regarding some of their new releases, couldn't they use the much-demanded short story reprint collections as filler material to keep everyone happy? Or would they burn precious contract slots by giving away SOTJ's tickets too soon?
You can't stop change any more than you can stop the suns from setting, you know. Cad Bane could probably contradict change, though.
If I hear one more Cad Bane contradiction joke...
Anyway, I feel like
@Ulicus hasn't been online today and I REALLY want to know if there was anything about The Essential Characters at Comic-Con.
Stop tag-spamming me. It's very irritating.
My bad. I thought you weren't seeing my posts.
But it pops up in his alerts, so...
Not if he isn't tagged.
No, I've seen every one. Trust me.
I keep abreast of the various threads as a matter of course. If I have something to contribute, I will. You don't need to shout my name to the heavens all the time. Flattering as it is.
I'm glad to flatter you.
Do you have any ideas about my Sith questions?
Speaking of which, no mini-modding
It's just the last few posts. And The Essential Characters still needs to be addressed.
Let me put it this way,
@darklordoftech. If there was any news on the Essential Characters, you'd already know about it.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fear for its fate!
We have over a year before it is released. No news isn't that surprising.
The one release that I can't wait for, to be somewhat back on topic, is Wild Space Volume 2. Though I'd read Devilworlds previously it was great to have all those obscure Tales in one collection, being the completionist I am. I feel like a short story collection would sell as well as any other Star Wars novel. Stop dragging your heels Del Rey. Feed me my Star Wars!
Although The Essential Characters is 100% on-topic, I couldn't agree more!
Sorry I didn't see the posts on that, I was referring to the mini modding whatever isms about mid page.
Write-up on the Dark Horse panel over at CBR: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=46805
Not any new info than from the Newsarama article, I believe, but a nice tool to catch up if you missed the news from the panel earlier.
