Okay so I got this e-mail?you see a sent a check in about a week ago to this little get together called Comic Con International. They have this art show and auction and every year I tell myself I am going to do it next year?

*Please excuse my ignorance*
I really don't know what Comic Con is, but it sounds like you will be hosting a booth or something with your own comics and/or art? For those of us who are a little out of touch with these types of things, could you please elaborate so we can join you and rejoice. Whatever it is, it sounds pretty cool.

 

Imagine if you will...thousands of geeks..Star Wars Geeks...Comic Geeks...Sci Fi Geeks all under one roof...with booths and tables filled with stuff for FOUR days. It can make a sane person want to dress up like Batman and run about its halls!

I understand that you have a new padawan, and as such sleep is a thing of the past...

That is so way cool!!

What will you be showing? Pencils, inks, paintings, sculpture? Do you have your own comic characters or do you borrow from others? Do you have any pics up on the web? Reason I'm asking is because I've tried off and on to learn to draw comic book style and I have had a rough go of it, so I think it is great that you have been able to and have enough confidence to actually show it to people (mine don't ever escape my drawing pad). Way to go!

I will be showing a mix...some pencil, some black and white but mostly my work with Markers. I am working on getting art up on the Internet...I have the space, I have the scanner and I have the Moe! So soon...perhaps? I will get it up before con so I can post a link to it with my artwork...hmmm?

Oh, and my art should be easy to find...Look for the big sign that says "DarkStar 357" done by out very own Bunny!
