San Fran, CA COMIC-CON July 19 - 23, 2006

Alright alright... who am I to deny The People...

I'll take the week off too and a little bit into the week after too.

So FINALLY, Rogue One will go back to SAN DEIGO!

 

Ireland is NICEST in June and July, very little rain and the countryside is just SO beautiful. I miss my Irish friends too, I think I knew someone in every county. Well except for Ulster... I should e-mail those lassies.

 

I am going to try and go this year since I have never been. I figure even if there are no real SW events going on, it sounds like something that should be experienced at least once. Especially since right now I can't afford to go anywere more exotic. lol

 

/\ it is DEFINITELY something to experience. Even if there is no SW going on. You have to see it to really believe it. Actually, after going to WorldCons for years, I think that ComicCon has them beat hands down... So go and enjoy!

 

I agree, last year was my first year and even though I had been to WonderCon and DragonCon once they didn't begin to prepare me for how massive Comic-Con was! There is an overwhelming number of vendors. Plus, there are so many great panels about upcoming movies and hit Sci-Fi TV shows with actors and directors included in the presentations. I'm still kind of bummed I missed out on the big Star Wars year with Hayden being there.

There are a few more people in costume compared to Wondercon too if you are into that sort of thing. However, I still say Dragon*Con is the best fantasy/sci-fi convention for people into costuming. Every night at the hotels the lobbies are like a big massive costume party!

Ming and Robert......you are going....that is that.....We are going to have the raddest time. All of us, away from our homes, it will be a never ending slumber party(that is an inside joke that only I get). Seriously, by the end of the five days we'll all need a break from each other. I'll probably be glad that I am the only one that lives here in LA, I kid...nothing but love for you guys and gals!!!!!!!!!

PS. I want to see Dale in the ski pants!!!!!!!!!!

But it is more than likely I'll go. Not sure about the LOTR Symphony since it's a bit pricey.

Haha... Well that put the nail in the coffin right there since Mark will be in the hiz-ouse!

 

I have a strange feeling that we'll be getting back to the hotel very late each night.

 

Oh hell no! I wanna be able to relax, at least.

 

That's what you guys said about C3 but after the first day I was the only one getting up early. Or maybe you just mean staying up really late at night. lol Either way it sounds like fun.

 

This time for sure.

 

This is vacation, time to cut loose and tear it up people! Let's hit it strong and have some awesome times!

 

Comiccon is one of those vacations you need a vacation after, LOL.
I will most likely not be going this year. My brother is getting married in mid-July, and I must be there to support him. I am envious of the great time you will all have though. It will be so much fun, I'm sure.

 

ohhhh....we will be getting back to the hotels late every night!!!!!
