    Hey Guys,

i'm sure this question has been asked way too many times. I have read a few comics and want to start reading more. Since there are so many series out there I was wondering where to begin and in what order. If this question has already been answered it would be great if one could direct me to a link for reference?

    You could read...
The first two arcs of Dawn of the Jedi
    then Tales of the Jedi
then Knights of the Old Republic (at least up to Vindication)
    then Knight Errant
    then Agent of the Empire
then Legacy, volumes I & II

I second that; except I'd say that you really have to read issues 1-50 of Knights of the Old Republic (Kotor: War is completely separate and is skipable).

Of anything read Legacy ( including Legacy:Wat) and Knights of the Old Republic. Those are the best of the Dark Horse conics and should not be missed.

Yes, there's a total of 56 issues for Cade's volume.

Then, for the final volume, there's 18 issues for Ania Solo's story.

I haven't read the Ania Solo's story so will get on that as well. I loved the Cade arc as it reminded a little bit of the OT

The Republic and Legacy series are must reads. Dark Lords of the Sith, Dark Empire, and Crimson Empire are also probably the best from the 90s.

Dark Times. Gotta show some love for love Dark Times. Republic starts out iffy, but the Quinlan Vos omnibus and Dark Times are the best of that stuff.

But yeah, the comics really shine in the distant pre- and post-film eras... and don't let the lack of an omnibus for Agent of the Empire stop you from getting it, because it's SO good (it's essentially James Bond reimagined for the GFFA).

Ghost really stated my own preferences but there's also:

    Dark Horse Clone Wars
    Dark Empire
    Rogue Squadron
    Jedi Council Acts of War
    Last Stand at Ord Mantell
    Stark Hyperspace War
Attack of the Clones (gorgeously illustrated and about 50 pages longer than the average movie adaptation)
    Tales
The Star Wars (based on George Lucas's original draft)
    Darth Maul : Death Sentence
    General Grevious

    All very good comics!

    As you're buying digital....

Classic Star Wars by Goodwin and Williamson - no matter what anyone says, it remains the definitive ANH-ESB bridge epic! 20 issues of sustained brilliance.

What are you talking about Orman? ANH is ep 4 and ESB is ep 5. And there are only 3 volumes collecting the 20 issues.

On it! I wonder what the new canon comics are going to be like. I love so many stories from the EU and it sucks to know they have dismissed all of those stories. Regardless they will still be y favourites.

Woops. Posting from the phone. My mistake.

Allow me to elaborate/clarify/why did I write that: Classic Star Wars 1-3 bridge the gap between Episodes 4 and 5. I've always been a bit confused as to where volume 4 fits in though (5 is pre-ANH).

Are you thinking of the Manning collection Orman? As far I know it wasn't billed as Volume 4, no idea what a 5th would have.
