Chic, IL Coming for a visit !!!!

Sorry to intrude but I just wanted to say hi and meet you all. My wife and I are coming to Chicago in May and hopefully we will get to meet you when we are in town.

Anyhoo, w00h00! This is cool. If anything ever happens up in the NW area when you're here, I'd be glad to meet a fellow collecting forum member like you!

And, of course, I'd expect you'd be giving out free toys as well.

Wow Mike! Ok let me know when you're coming. I'm planning on coming up sometime in April or May to see some friends of mine, so if you're around we are so going to meet up.

Mike, I wouldn't worry about Sithman bothering you. He hasn't made it to any CF event yet, the odds of him actually interfering with your trip are very slim.

On a serious note
Stalking may seem pretty funny board topic, but think about what you are doing in real life. You could be scaring the poodoo out of someone or their spouse and they are calling the cops or reaching for the pocket-sized home defense.

Okay, here's the deal:

I'm at my really good friend's house who lives 2 doors down from Mark (Jodo), so we're bored, and I'm like, "Hey Ry, we should go stick a note on Mark's door about Star Wars." It looks all dark over at Mark's house, and we won't get caught, right? Well, WE didn't see anybody, but evidently as I later heard, Mark's wife saw our shadows sneaking along the side of the house and freaked out (and rightly so, I know I would [face_shocked] ). Then Mark came out with a baseball bat to whup the sorry derierre of the imaginative punk robbers.

Needless to say, my friend and I actually thought nobody was home since we sprinted it back to my friend's house and never saw Mark toting his baseball bat and such.




So, yah, that incident, among others (think Celebration II and the Teddy Bear at Target ) is why I get the "stalker" label.
Completely preposterous, obviously.
