1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

Coming it is, Phineas and Ferb Meet Star Wars

Okay, I wasn't quite sure where this goes. So if it's in the wrong area or already been posted somewhere and I missed it, sorry.

I know what Phineas and Ferb look like, since I recall seeing advertisements for some ice show they had, beyond that I know nothing about them. I don't know if they have a show like Ren & Stimpy or Spongebob Squarepants that kids can enjoy, but that adults (at least in my experience) can find entertainment in too. Or if it's more in line with something like Pokemon (the TV show) that is clearly intended for young kids.

The animation and colors can be real eye-sores sometimes, and the theme song gets grating, but it does have some clever writing, so yeah, adults can enjoy it. One of its creators has also directed on Family Guy, and the other's worked on King of the Hill, and they've both worked on Rocko's Modern Life.

Isn't Jojen Reed's actor a voice actor in this? I wouldn't be able to stop imagining Game of Thrones whilst watching.

No different from Blue Harvest or any other Star Wars parody/homage.

I'm not a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb, but it's quite a good cartoon, and it's always cool to see shows taking off Star Wars, so I'll definitely be checking this episode out.

So, unlike the Marvel crossover, this one is more of a parody with the P&F characters taking the place of the movie characters.

...I can buy that. This is probably just a silly, mindless fun episode anyway.

My biggest question is. What will Perry do?

I agree more spoofs...wonderful. We already got Robot Chicken, Family Guy, those Star Wars Lego cartoons, and now this? Damn. They better release a lot of content in teh bonus section.

They did a Marvel one? I don't have cable, just Netflix, but it definitely doesn't have a Marvel one. Netflix serious need a P&F update. And yes, while this show is intended for kids, it has some humor that only adults would get; kids couldn't even begin to comprehend. I have high hopes for a SW crossover.

I've only heard of this show from my nephews mentioning it, but never had any desire to watch it. I may have to check it out for their Marvel and Star Wars spoofs.

Makes you wonder, out of all the Disney characters, why the chose Phineas & Ferb. Why not a SW spoof with Mickey & the gang(based on the Star Tours figures)?...though that would be alot of Goofies running around.

Because, truthfully, P&F is the only funny show on Disney Channel right now (though I'd argue that Good Luck Charlie has its moments).
